Never been happier with a hostel. Great Wi-Fi (hard to come by in Bolivian hostels), comfy beds, low price and really friendly owner/volunteer staff. Well-kept kitchen. Nicely located in Sopocachi, with close teleferico access.

Nice, quiet hostel outside of downtown with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and fast wifi. Distance was no problem for us, there is a cable car station just a couple blocks away or it's a cheap taxi or Uber ride (20 bs). Breakfast is at the Greenhouse across the street which you also have access to and is very nice. Definitely ask the owner questions of what to do in town! He has great suggestions and can give you a map and show you how to ride the cable cars.

Owner is nice, very interesting man. Our private room was huge with great WiFi. The Netflix/chill out area was really good as well! Breakfast was basic so we bought some eggs to have with it. Lots of space and loads of kitchens to cook in.

Perfect hostel in the quieter part of town. Owner and the staff give you so much information on what to do and who to book with etc... can’t fault this place!

Second time we stayed here, for good reason. We ended up staying a week as we needed some good rest and this is definitely the place to get it. It’s a nice and relaxed atmosphere and the staff are ever so friendly and helpful. The WiFi is good so we managed to get a huge chunk of research done for future projects and in between the Netflix in the lounge is an excellent way to kill some time and chill. Nice little restaurants and stuff nearby, and the teleferico being so close is a massive plus!

    Fabulous

We went here based on a mates recommendation and it didn't disappoint. The kitchen facilities are great. I would suggest providing some pepper and olive oil or butter so guests can cook with ease, however the pots pans etc are in good condition with ample kitchen space. We stayed at the cathedral. This is across the road from the greenhouse, which is where everything happens. The cathedral is a lot quieter and chilled. Rooms were basic, clean & comfortable beds with reliable Wi-Fi & good staff

    Very Good

We booked a room here but when we showed up they put us in the hostel across the street, the Greenhouse. The room was bleak, showers were cold, the common space was nice enough. We also booked our Uyuni Salt Flats tour through the hostel. Sergio (the owner) was super helpful but oversold us a bit. He said a bus would pick us up from his hostel, but instead someone walked us to a collectivo, from there took a cab to the bus station where we waited for 2 more hours for a freezing night bus.

We arrived late off the Bolivia Hop bus. Hoped for a clean shower and bathroom but were quickly disappointed. Bathroom smelt wet, musty and there was mould on the floors. Water was cold and low pressure. Not what we expected from a newly ‘renovated’ hostel. Although staff were helpful and bed was comfortable, we checked out early the next AM to find a cleaner place to stay. Not a great start to our time in La Paz.

Friendly and helpful staff though they messed up our booking and put us in the greenhouse hostel instead. Our dorm was accessed through another larger dorm. No security lockers. Breakfast of a roll and butter/jam. Only 2 toilet/shower rooms for each gender. Worst part is that this is a smoking hostel which we weren't aware of. Not in the dorms but in the kitchen and living/dining room communal space. Frankly this is disgusting that you have to cook, eat and relax in essentially a smoking area.
