My favourite hostel in South America for so many reasons. The volunteers were so cool and fun. Big shoutout to Marlous, David, Lucho and Björn, you guys rock. Also, if you’re doing Spanish do it with Jhanet, she is not only a great teacher but now also a friend, an amazing woman. The set up of the hostel just gets it right, the atmosphere is so nice and everyone sits together every night and makes food together. It’s like a family, this is what every hostel should be like! Gracias:)

Celtic cross did not feel as a hostel, but as home away from home! The staff were some of the nicest and friendliest folks I've met, kudos to all and thanks for teaching me Cambio! If you study spanish there you are getting free accomodation, which is a great deal. They accept cards, so rare for Bolivia. Overall the hostel was clean, secure (CCTV and large lockers), WiFi was alright, there are both common area and a rooftop, kitchen was well equipped - I can only recommend this place!

We loved the hostel! Great kitchen, fun atmosphere and definitely worth the money! A calm but social hostel, if you want a few beers with a good crowd then this is the place, don’t expect a party though. You get free accommodation if you book 3 sessions of Spanish, however it was fully booked when I arrived so maybe book beforehand.

Nice hostel with great communal area. Generally clean. The actual volunteers were great, however, the hostel seemed to have some quests who had been there for several weeks, were very cliquey and not particularly welcoming. They sometimes appeared to think they worked there and could be quite rude. If you want to do the Spanish classes then definitely book these in advance.

Stayed one night and it was a bit too crowded for my taste. They do offer free spanish lessons if you stay here which is a very good deal.
