Perfect for saving money if you're planning to stay 1 to 3 nights. I was at the private room, everything ok and clean. There was no curtains but it was ok since I like to wake up early. Don't go expecting a 5star hotel. Staff is indeed very friendly

Very friendly staff, good location, great value for money. The cleanness is a bit of an issue in bathrooms and kitchen.

Nice pub and place to stay and have a drink, always has a decent atmosphere, especially on a sunny weekend. The hostel is getting a little run down and the kitchen facilities are kind of limited.

The bed was broke and made for a tough nights sleep. There is drought in the country and yet they had a broken tap that ran from we checked in on Friday and checked out on Monday. It was cheap and the bar was good. you get what you paid for

Please tell guests they will need a top sheet. Aren't hostels required to have bins for women's sanitary waste? Even a basic calico curtain would be an improvement for guests' privacy. I think installing several more lights is necessary because it's very dark. The paper towel in the toilet/shower room was depleted quickly. There was no hot water the first night and little the second. The toilet was clogged on Saturday. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. Thank you.

You get what you pay for. It was cheap but cheap for a reason. Room not clean. Noisey till midnight due to pub downstairs. Renovations needed, staircase unsafe. No curtains/blinds in room. No toilet paper in communal bathrooms. If you are on a budget and can put up with a lot, maybe give it a go.

Rom was dirty, cockroaches, crumbs on the bed and given a single sheet for a double bed. No curtains, so punters next door were watching me through the window. I hung the single sheet up to stop this. The door, although technically locked, was ajar and lady men kept banging on it. I did not feel safe as a single woman. Immediately after checking into the room, I left and booked an Airbnb nearby. Though this "hotel" is not expensive, I think it should be much cheaper considering the state of it.

By far the worst, unclean and terrible accommodation I have ever experienced. It was filthy, the shower was disgusting, it looked like it had never been cleaned (water was mainly cold). Had to ask staff to put a fresh sheet on upon arrival as the old tenant's sheets were left on (they were stained and full of hair). Had to buy a towel from town as the hostel offered none. This was definitely an experience that I don't want to repeat. On the positive side, location was great, and nothing else.

DON'T STAY HERE This was the filthiest place I've ever stayed. After one night here I got a skin infection that last 2 weeks and it's still going. I'm not exaggerating, had a small cut in my face and after I use the disgusting pillow the gave me (stupid me), got and infection that's spreading in all my face and now I'm on antibiotics.

This place was filthy and disgusting. Toilet had no paper or cleaned for 4 days. Shower was disgusting. I refused to use it. I went elsewhere. Rooms were filthy upon arrival. Overall a waste of money. The local park would've been cleaner and more comfortable.
