I’m not exaggerating, this is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s very clean, in a good location, very friendly staffed, and the rooftop bar is the crown jewel. Each night we drank and chatted with all the fellow travelers - not a party atmosphere, but chill and a bit more mature. Can’t say enough good things about TCRP.

What can I say? I think this hostel is incredibly well run. The staff are helpful beyond words, particularly Nao who genuinely will go out of her way to help you book accommodation and trips. David the barman on the rooftop is really amicable too and makes even the most solo of solo travellers feel like they have company. It’s actually a great skill. I would definitely return and look forward to it.

Their staff are amazing people, accommodating, and kind, and I couldn't have asked for a better hostel experience. Rooftop hangout and bar. Shared kitchen with available drinks for purchase. Space for relaxing, making phone/facetime calls, reading, etc. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Services like motorbike rentals and extras make experiencing Vietnam much more accessible. Great area to stay that is more away from heavy-tourist population and close to ChinaTown (ChoLon). Great hostel.

Awesome place! Everyone was super nice in the hostel and we made friends that we'll have for the rest of our lives. If you're debating whether or not to do a hostel for your trip, do it!! You will never forget it. Common Room was my first hostel ever and it was perfect. Next time I'm in Saigon I'll be going back.

TCRP was exactly what it says it is: a great place to stay and get to interact with other travelers. The laid back vibe of the common areas certainly encourage that - definitely check out the rooftop if you stay here!

Great experience at this hostel. The staff is super-friendly while professional. To clarify, this is not a crazy-party hostel, but one with a unique chillout vibe where travellers meet up and have fun. Not located in the backpackers street, nor right within the main district. For me that's perfect as you can get a good rest. Also check out the rooftop, that's the habitat of a lively italian barman!

CRP was a very pleasant place to stay! Staff was kind, and rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast is make your own eggs and toast, with option to pay for bacon and cereal. Location is not bad but not walking distance to the sights so prepare to order Grabs or get taxis. Would stay again!

An oasis in the middle of Ho Chi Minh. Perfect for those looking to escape the typical ‘backpacker’ trail yet still experience hostel life. The location is slightly out of the centre so Grabs are needed to get from here to there quickly, personally I enjoyed this as I was able to see the city on the back of a bike. All of the staff here are amazing, they make you feel so welcome. Big shout out to Hoc who helped with all of my questions and even offered his help whilst traveling Vietnam!

The common room project is an excellent “luxury” hostel if you are looking to get away from those crazy party hostels I’m Vietnam. Yes the price is more than the typical hostel in Vietnam, but you get premium facilities and spacious dorm rooms. The staff always had a smile on their face and wanted to help. I would love to stay again. Not my favourite hostel as a solo traveller unless you want some peace and quiet. Which i did.
