Property Description

Welcome to Shoreditch! We are all about East London. Our hostel is located in the capital’s coolest district, where cool East meets old school Central London. This area is famous for its alternative culture and hipster style.

The hostel is located just meters away from the bustling Shoreditch High Street – home of London’s coolest bars, clubs, restaurants, galleries and independent shops. We even have our own bustling on-site bar.

Brick Lane, Spitalfields Market, Columbia Road and The Old Truman Brewery are all within walking distance of the hostel. We are even near a couple of Banksy pieces! What’s more, we’re only bus trips away from the Tower of London, Oxford Street and Covent Garden.

The hostel is housed in a converted, Victorian-era warehouse and has a wonderful industrial feel. Perfect if you’re looking for something with quirky style and an independent vibe.

We don’t like to brag, but we do have it all: awesome staff, free wi-fi, 24 hour reception, roof terrace, self catering kitchen, bustling on-site bar, and a coffee shop. We provide free luggage storage for you on the day of your arrival and check-out. There’s even a guest discount in the onsite coffee shop too!

Good location, friendly staff, amazing price, nice atmosphere, felt safe the entire time. I was surprised it was open during lockdown but very happy because I needed to be in London for a day for an orthodontics appointment so it was really helpful. There were 4 of us in a 12bed room, I really like how they offer earplugs for free because not seen this in many hostels but I always take my own anyway.

Really Good experience as I didn’t realise when booking a private room we’d have a private bathroom (don’t alway get this in hostels) and they also provided us with towels. The only negative thing I’d say was it gets extremely hot in the room and there’s no AC so that may be something to consider.

Stayed briefly during the pandemic so not full, yet was still quite noisy and thus not recommended if you want to sleep well. The two-bunk ensuite room was great and is on an internal courtyard not the road. It hadn't been quite thoroughly cleaned as the bin was full and was missing toilet paper. Otherwise good for London. Each bunk had sockets (including USB) with bedding (albeit dubiously thin sheets), and the room an electric skylight. Minor gripe would be that the drains smelled a bit.

Fine to crash for a night, definitely a bit sketchy and dirty (beds were clean though), very loud at night with lots of street noise but ok with eyemask and good ear plugs. Room smelled bad, we didn't love using the kitchen, bathrooms, or shower (dirty), and the front door was often open and security was very lax. Staff didn't seem very knowledgeable about checkin or checkout procedures. Location is perfect if you like bars, restaurants, and Shoreditch scene. You get what you pay for.

Needed somewhere close to Liverpool St to stay for an early morning flight the next day. Overall the private double room was nice, but could’ve been a bit cleaner. However, I did not sleep at all. There is a door that everyone slams shut every other 5 minutes and the noise from people chatting/drinking into the night was unbearable. The two people at reception couldn’t have looked less interested upon my arrival if they tried.

Although friendly, the staff are poorly trained. We were sent to 3 rooms which were occupied before they finally found us a room. The sheets were still dirty though and the rubbish hadn’t been taken out. I even took a Covid test after staying there out of fear for infection (negative though).
