Doozy is one of my favorite places I have stayed. It’s so nice to disconnect and recharge here. The staff is out of this world, so helpful and warm and welcoming. The views were indescribable. The food.. I don’t even know where to start. I have no complaints other than brace yourself to never want to leave! Thank you for an amazing few days!

Great place and vibe. On the "party" side but there are many corners where you can enjoy some quite time too. Food was reasonably priced given the location and very tasty.

Best hostel we stayed in in Central America. We moved here after staying for one night on another place. Best decision we made. Staff made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in and learned all our names straight away. Lovely location with free kayaking and paddle boarding. Had some crazy nights partying here. Relatively new hostel so there is not too much hype about it but if you are going to lake Atitlan this is the only place you should you should be staying. Ring the f*****g bell!!

Amazing lake house on Lago de Atitlán! Beautiful views and mesmerizing sunrises/sunsets. Many big balconies, hammocks everywhere and delicious delicious food! The staff is absolutely the best and will help you book all your activities. It’s an isolated hostel on its own so you really get a massive connection with nature and the lake. Make sure to try the Mayan Sauna if you like that kind of stuff and jump in the lake under the stars after working a big sweat! You will love their dog Loka!

This is easily one of the best hostels we’ve ever stayed in- we cannot rate it high enough!! If your looking for a beautiful place to stay on the lake, chilled out vibes with incredible views, top notch super clean facilities, some of the best tasting (& very reasonably priced) food we’ve ever had from a hostel - this is it. We could’ve stayed for months, it was a home away from home! Massive shout out to the staff, especially Will- thankyou so much, you’re all an absolute bunch of legends!!!

A great place to get away and relax. It's on it's own dock - so a nice retreat from the touristy parts of the lake. Perfect place to just chill in a hammock or go kayaking. Feel like it's important for people to know that there is no WiFi. Food was great (you can either head to one of the other cities on the lake to eat or order from the hostel. Dinner is family style).

Absolutely stunning location away from everything on the lake. The staff make everyone feel really welcome and the place has an amazing energy. If you’re visiting the lake, would definitely recommend!

    Very Good

Located very far from everywhere because if you want to go to any of the towns around you need to pay for a boat ride. Also, this means you HAVE to eat your meals there which costs extra. Food is delicious though!!! Try the brownies. The view from the common areas or the dock is stunning. The ambince is chill. Everyone is friendly. But it is kind of secluded so I only stayed for one night. No hot water. Not wiffi.

There's no wifi (as they've stated in their description) but also the power was only on from about 6:30pm to 11:30pm, which is not long enough to charge anything. Half of the toilets and showers were broken - they tried to play this off as being eco-friendly, but honestly it's just gaslighting to make you feel bad about wanting to take a warm shower. The view is nice and the food is pretty good. I don't think the owner has any interest in improving the property. Very weird atmosphere.
