We loved the Eagles. The small town was perfect for our trip and we really enjoyed the pub. The locals were fantastic, friendly and helpful.

My husband and I with three kids stayed two nights here. The first night we had it all to ourselves. Second night, some bikers arrived, but you hardly noticed them. Loved the place and the kitchen was a nice place to visit and eat. Host was awesome!! He made sure we had all we needed and we hung out in the pub below and watched some Women's world cup games. It was one of the nicer hostels we've stayed in. Would highly recommend it.

Fantastic, everything you need and great value for money. Only downside was we struggled to find a taxi service to take us into Betws-y-coed

Great place for a short stay. Owner very helpful. Rooms are small but comfortable. Kitchen is good but could only cope with a few people at a time. Bar and restaurant on the ground floor makes it very convenient. Londis shop next door. Parking in Church car park.

Really good value for money and country views. Note can be limited bus service access and only dinner from the pub on Saturday during winter.

The Eagles was very clean bunk house with a good Kitchen, we stayed for 2 nights as we tackled Snowdon with 2 children and live 5 hours away. The first night was good, tea and coffee in the room and bread, cereal etc available in the kitchen. The second morning was no bread and the tea and coffee in the room wasn't replenished. No bath plug was a draw back too! Nowhere to park!! Londis opposite has a good range of products and open to 7pm! All in all a good place to bunk. I think 7/10 is fair.

Nice place. Bring your grub and a local area map and go out and explore. The bar opens full time during the season.

Lovely setting, clean place. Just a normal pub, not a hostel. Location is beautiful, but inconvenient. The pub itself only serves food on Friday and Saturday nights, and is open for drinks on Wednesday-Saturday. The nearest town is Betws-y-Coed (5-10min drive), there are no buses after 6pm. There are no shops to buy food or drink in the village the accommodation is located. Staff are super friendly, and it's a quiet place, but you need to be prepared so you don't go hungry.
