I had a great time at Farrington. I absolutely loved my private bedroom. They provided me with an extra heater, and I could do my checkout at 2pm with no additional cost. It’s near to the subway stop Harvard Ave. The staff is very nice and kind

Had a great stay at The Farrington Inn, especially since the common areas like kitchen, bath and washer/dryers were well taken care of. Would highly recommend, if dropping by the area!

A fairly good experience! I ended up renting a one bed single room for a week stay in Boston. It's situated right between MIT and Harvard, and down the street from Boston University so the area is student heavy. It's not super-close to downtown, so definitely buy the 7-day pass offered by the MTBA to get anywhere in the city by either bus or subway. As a budget option, I was not disappointed and slept very soundly and securely. Building is locked tight, along with your room door as well.

It is my first time in Boston and John has been very welcoming. He helped me figure out different aspect of East Coast life. He has been friendly and helpful. It was a good transition place. Thanks for all. Mike

Very good value for the price. Staff seemed nice but I didn't really interact with them a lot. No frills.

Location: great. Staff: very friendly. Building: old but cute. Room: Vile. The sheets were the only thing that was clean. There was dust everywhere, window fan/AC unit smelled musty, room smelled very stale. I was scared to take my shoes off because the carpet was clearly filthy - hair wads on the floor, several loose coins, stains and burns. Found a dirty sock, a soda can, a pringles can, and a giant fake spider underneath the bed. Smoke detector ripped out with dangling wires. Scary.

Nice old house but the owner is really stingy, tough to open doors, bolts to bathroom rusted. Will it hurt to have a coffee machine or a kitchen? Duh. The area is interesting, old houses, but the owner takes no pride in the place. Cracked tiles in the bathroom, need I say more?

The location of this Inn was not ideal for spending time in the city of Boston, it was pretty far from everything. It was not clean at all- there were two dead bees in our room, the windows would not open and shut properly, the carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed and the whole room was generally old and dingy. We were kept up at night by loud cars and people outside our window all three nights. The only staff ever seen was during check in, otherwise there was no one at the desk to help.
