What a great place to stay !!! Extremely clean and extremely safe. In a safe neighborhood, rooms were secure, showers were fantastic, etc. I have only the highest marks to give the Finnish Church in London. Only one other place I have stayed at, a catholic music conservatory dormitory in Saltzburg, even came up to this standard. They also have a sauna in the basement. It was free if you are a hostel guest. I only used it once but the experience and conversations in the sauna was excellent.

A delightful find after trying many different hostels in the London area. Clean, secure, and quiet with a great location close to the Rotherhite Overground station. One of the best bargains in London!

The accommodation provided rooms for large groups at a low cost. It was very handy with the event we had planned to go to, as well as shops and pubs, and is also very close to transport links. The self catering kitchen was small but did the job. Only complaint was the lack of air conditioning which made the typical heat of London unbearable in the bedroom and kitchen areas; keep the windows open if you're staying there in summer.

The Finnish staff are friendly and helpful. I felt welcome and comfortable immediately. The location is close to everything, and the walk to both Canada Water tube stop and Rotherhite short and scenic through parks and historic areas. There is a great store on the premises where Finnish hand made goods as wells delicious Finnish chocolate and many items for wear. I appreciate the quiet atmosphere, respectful of the church nearby where it is possible to pray and reflect as well.

Spotlessly clean, easy to find. 4 stops on the Jubilee line from Waterloo. Stayed in the 4 bed ladies only room (on my own!). Lovely warm room for my chilly October stay, with kettle and mini fridge. Fresh linen and towel supplied. Mattress on the firmer side, but comfortable. Simple breakfast. Staff not at all chatty, if that suits you, great! Good value, would stay again.

If you are older this is the place for you. I found everyone I met at the hostel to be over 40, minus the girl working reception. My bed sheets had hair all over them and the shower didn’t work. I was also unfortunate in that the women I was rooming with went to bed at 7:30 PM, so I was unable to unwind in the room as it was pitch black. They were up at 5 AM and when I awoke later I found coffee spilled all inside my carry-on/shoes/floor. Also, only one outlet to share with four people
