Small rooms but great location. The hostel is very clean and well organized. However the beds have a low ceiling and the rooms are very tight. The rooms do not have AC but the breeze from the wind keeps the room cool enough for me. Beds are very comfortable and it was easy to find. The hostel is close to all the museums. According to my fit bit I walked 16 miles a day walking around. The area is very safe. I never felt threatened or unsafe. I would definitely recommend this hostel to others.

The hostel is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom has shampoo and soap and it helped a lot. The only thing that makes the place not the best is that the hostel does not have a space to integrate, except for a rooftop. Plus: the localization is amazing! I recomend a walk at Zócalo (so so close) and in the Pallacio de Bellas Artes. :)

It was a nice stay many of the workers were nice but some unprofessional. I liked the atmosphere of the hostel but felt some beds had more space than others. I also was informed of one price then charged another. But overall I liked the hostel and some workers were very helpful and friendly

I would look to have more clean the showers and also at least one toilette room near the rooms so we don´t have to walk around the pub in our night ware. That´s all :)

The Foodie is a bargain for Ciudad de Mexico. Plenty of restaurants nearby (including in the building of the hostel) and it’s in a central location. However, be aware of what you’re getting for the price. The bunk rooms are meant for sleeping as there’s not enough space to fully sit up in the beds (think capsule-sized sleeping area). There is a terrace area you can hang around, but it’s pretty simple. The showers the second morning were horrendous. Hopefully this was a fluke, but be aware.

Very clean, good location, but the beds are so stacked up that you have to crawl into your bed! Can't even lift your head when you are laying in the bed. So even though the rest is good, no space is essential... Wouldn't recommend it

    Very Good

The hostel is located in a really nice building with a bar, ice cream shop, barber, and a great restaurant (they incorporate edible flower petals in all their dishes.) But as far as accommodations go, this is probably the most basic hostel I've been to. As mentioned by others, the bunks are the SMALLEST I've ever seen in my life. It felt like sleeping in a sock drawer. There are no fans in the room, so we had to leave the door open, and got SO many mosquito bites. Staff were great though!

There was no toilet near the rooms. You had to walk across the bar area to get to the toilet. There was also no common, cozy area for the hostel, just a bar with benches. The bar blared music til midnight, despite several requests to lower the music from guests. The best part about the hostel are all the food stalls upstairs. I left the hostel early due to the issues.
