Great hostel in a good location in The Hague. Friendly staff - loved the Hague, hired bikes from a shop next door to the hostel and cycled to Schevenigen beach :)

The stay at the Golden Stork was nice and as expected. What I was not happy about is how unclear was the Hostelworld website. It never was clear the commission was extra pay, it almost was deceiving to make you think it was a partial payment of the total amount.

Good stay. Not too long of a walk from the train station. Clean, comfortable bed in a small room. Bring a big lock for the lockers.

Good location, Yay too no stairs, and roommates were generally quiet. I didn't like that there was only one bathroom and the showers were shared with both males and females from what I saw.

I stayed in a 15-bed dorm for a night. It was so suffocating and stinky. I could not sleep the whole night. Please consider booking in a dorm with fewer people. But, the staff are friendly and it is in a good location.

It was my first time staying at a hostel, the staff was nice, rooms were safe and clean, no windows. The only thing that needed constant supervision was the bathrooms, guests would throw paper on the floor and not clean after themselves.

No windows or ventilation in the 15-bed dorm, so it felt really damp and clammy the entire time. Smelled HORRIBLE. I found 8 moldy old socks under + beside my bed!!! I was the only one in the dorm at that time so when was it last cleaned?! Also, I was on the bottom bunk and could barely sit up halfway without hitting my head (and I'm only 155cm). Location is okay and security is good. Staff was mostly nice also. Not bad for 1, max 2 nights. Would not recommend for any longer.
