Only used it as a bed for 2 nights. Booked a single en suite room but actually got a very comfy double room for what I thought was a reasonable price. Kind of know Glasgow but because of renovation works on Glasgow school of art had to ask for directions in Renfrew Street. It’s easy to walk into the centre via Sauchiehall Street but a taxi into the centre is about £7 which I thought was okay. No curfew and 24 hour reception so if you want to go out on the town then no worries. Give it a go.

Nice and quiet Victorian house just on a quiet side street downtown. Rooms are small but clean. They have a nice free breakfast; either light, full Scottish, or vegetarian. One of the cheaper options around for a single room. Would stay again.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms! No real social space to meet other travellers if that's what you're looking for.

Not a hostel but super reasonable compared to hotels in the area. Breakfast was good, location offered easy access to central Glasgow (it's up a bit of a hill though). Significant road work one street over made getting there a little tricky on arrival but otherwise our night at the Hampton Court Guest House was great!

My Daughter and I stayed on sept 18/18 our room was very clean and the shared bathroom was very nice. Sheldon the desk clerk was very polite and helpful. I would recommend taking a taxi to the Hostel there are some steep hills to climb although my daughter and I did the walk and survived walking from the bus station that took about 15 minutes. There are a number of good restaurants not far from the hostel. We would stay again and recommend a stay to anyone .

    Very Good

    17 Nov 2018
My single room had barely enough room for my 2 bags & a backpack. But it was clean & the bed was comfy. Things that bothered me: My shared bathroom was down a flight of stairs. My room door had gaps in it, I could hear absolutely everything, including customers arguing in the stairwell at 1:30am. The room had like a chimney nook with windows on top that let in a very noticeable draft, even with the heating turned right up. Avoid breakfast, it's horrible & mostly microwaved & tasteless.

    Very Good

Overall it was a good place to stay. Just a couple blocks from the bus and train station which was was great. The breakfast they provide was filling and very nice. Other than that there was noone to interact with so it wasn't a place to meet people and explore the city together.

Hostel overcharged me £5 and I have bed bug bites that showed up one day after staying in the hostel (and it’s the only hostel I have been in the past weeks). I emailed about the money this week and have yet to hear back about my refund.
