Love this place. It has a true "home from home" feel to it and is run by awesome staff who are beyond helpful and pleasant. I enjoyed a relaxing 24 hours with staff making me feel welcome with an early check-in and a late check out. I'd recommend this hostel highly and hope to be back one day

Absolutely amazing stay at The Hostel California, loved the kitchen facilities especially. Staff were all incredibly helpful and we enjoyed our time so much. The room definitely isn’t large or modern, but it is cozy and homey and so worth the price!

This place was awesome, they had an opening in a private room and upgraded me on Thanksgiving which was a great surprise! Everyone especially the staff was super friendly and the bed was very comfy. If I'm back in the area I would certainly stay here again. It was right next to lots of restaurants and parking was easy. Was an excellent stop on my roadtrip

I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with my stay at Hostel California. Most of the people staying there this past week were hikers taking a short break to rest and replenish supplies as they traversed The Pacific Crest Trail. I encountered a group of people I had never been around before. Folks from all parts of the world that were in the process of spending 5-6 months hiking from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. All we we happy to to share their adventure.
