It really enjoyed my stay at Jazz House - it was a nice change of pace as it was very relaxed. It has a really nice area out front with hammocks, and they do yoga as well which is great. Location is perfect as it’s right on walking street, but quite enough to be relaxed. Highly recommend!

Jazz House is the perfect place to hang out in a hammock, drink a cold smoothie, and listen to live music during the evening + sometimes during the day. The staff were helpful with making sure transportation back to Chiang Mai was arranged, it’s a 30 second walk to all the foods and shops, but tucked away enough that you don’t get all of the noise from the bars.

    Fabulous

Everything was very good, only one thing disturbed me, the manager attitude, she did not try to make us feel comfortable for a moment with her rude behave, and she was not ready to hear about our requests. All the other aspects were just great and the rest of the staff was lovely too. Great place to stay!

    Fabulous

Great location loved the Jazz club aspect. Beds were thin hard plastic Covered mats. Had heat which is rare in Pai but nights are chilly. Bathroom shower floor was slimy with black mold On the walls. No where to put toiletries and very dim with only 1 bare light bulb. No one around during the day just off the walking street so no scooter needed.

    Very Good

Crashed here after my other hostel overbooked. It’s a totally adequate place to stay for a night or two, and is conveniently located right off the Pai walking street. Facilities are basic but fine. Electricity wasn’t working in the room when we got there, but turned on shortly thereafter. We also had to ask 3 times for blankets to be brought for our beds. Some staff members don’t speak great English, but everyone is nice enough. Overall, okay for a short time but wouldn’t stay here for too long.

The garden is pretty, that's pretty much all there is to it. There is no hostel atmosphere (very few guests), the rooms are really basic : only one light for the whole dorm (and not strong enough), no curtains or nightstand, lukewarm showers, no brush near the toilet, no soap near the sink, they do not provide breakfast or any help to explore the city. There are cheaper and better alternatives around.

Positive first: Jazz house has a very good atmosphere at night with live music and good company for people who just want to have a chill evening. But: The price was given as 200baht, but night two and three was 220. Not a huge difference, but annoying. Breakfast was also supposed to be included. First morning we got a plate with toast, egg and ham and we were happy. Second day only one egg, and third “breakfast is not included”. Staff gave us no explanation, and morning staff knew no English.
