The flying bed was fun, I loved it. The staff was great and the showers amazing. Very clean place, close to town. The food at the restaurant is a bit pricey but SO GOOD it’s really worth it. There is a night market once a week really close to the hostel. Only improvement would be adding more fans (in the dorm and in the restaurant) since there is no a/c. Would definitely go back.

Excellent place to stay. My only recommendation is that more sofas are added to the communal area (it was a little hard to relax on hard wooden seats). Perhaps more hammocks! The staff were really excellent. Thank you,

Service, cleanliness and food were good. The flying bed, however, needed some getting used to. If you fidget a lot during sleep, maybe op for the regular mattress/bed.

Great hostel, good atmosphere, friendly staff! Some minor negative comments: there was some very loud construction work still going on in the hostel at around 11pm. I asked the staff to handle the situation and the noise immediately stopped. Also I was told that someone would help me check out at 7:00 AM. No one was there at 7:15 and I had a flight to catch so I left without getting my key deposit back. Otherwise, I would recommend it!

Absolutely loved this place! This hostel does not have an Air-Con and Langkawi gets roasting hot in the day time so that was a concern. Overall I had an amazing time here, mainly because I found the perfect bunch of people to hang around with. Would definitely recommend this place.

Loved my time at The Kasbah. The location is great, just a short 5 minute walk from cenang beach and all the shops and restaurants. The cafe is so chill, it’s a great place to work ( if you have to) or chill with the other travelers. The food is pretty good as well although more mid-range in cost. I slept on both the Japanese style bed and the flying bed. In the end, I liked the motion best. The lockers are big enough for a 40-50L bag. Which is great since there is no security.

The only lock is for storage. The dorm door is not locked at night,so people can come in and out. But langkawi is generally safe, there shouldn't be any disturbances, plus there's a friendly guard dog looking out. It's a very chill and comfortable place to stay in. Sleeping on the hanging bed is a new experience, and need getting used to.

The hostel is great in terms of location, cleanliness, and ambient. However, the flying beds take some getting used to and are definitely not for anyone. You need to try to know, though. The lockers/chests are also not the most convenient system to store your belongings, some kind of smaller lockers would be way better IMHO.

Hostel was nice, stayed in the 20 bed dorm which wasn’t too bad as it’s a two floor dorm. All staff are nice. Only bad thing was we were told we could extend our stay and pay in the morning and everything was confirmed. At 11pm a member of staff told us that we could no longer extend so we had to find a new place to stay at 11pm which was difficult and very annoying as places get booked up quickly in Langkawi. Would give it a higher score, but it was unorganised.
