Great location. The staff are the best and super helpful. They helped organise a scooter and change to a quad for the second day and the company they are linked with Green Expeditions was brilliant. We would defiantly stay again.

Lenny was great, really helpful and a top lad. Hostel itself was cool but was a bit quiet although this was the same across the whole island. Would 100 per cent recommend staying here

Lovely staff and a great splash to crash if arriving late off the ferry onto Ometepe. Staff was helpful with recommendations and facilities were clean and comfortable.

Like the name implies, most people here are in transit. All but 1 person in my 8 bed dorm had cleared out before 8 am, so might as well expect to get up early and roll with it. Staff was really nice, but not the type that mingles overall with you. Surprisingly great shower though for an island in Central America. Def good to crash here and figure out your trip!

Good place to stay. Very quiet during my stay. Not much of a backpacker lively lifestyle

Exactly as advertised, clean, cozy and quiet. The location was ideal and really easy to find as it was right off the boat dock. We recommend renting a motorcycle, we were able to see the entire island. Great staff too, thank you guys!

If you're looking into staying in a hostel with a social atmosphere, I suggest going more into Balgue. The location of this is very good in relation to the ferry as it's literally a 3 minute walk, but the town of Myogalpa was dead when we were there. I'm not sure if it was low season. Most backpackers we met while adventuring were staying in Balgue. Otherwise, facilities were clean and the staff is VERY helpful when it came to suggestions. I suggest staying here for the night if getting in late.

To be fair, here are my pros and cons: PROS: -located really close to the ferry, no need to pay for a cab. -The Mexican restaurant next to it: the owner is the nicest person ever. Super friendly and helpful. - cute & chill terrace on the upper level floors -affordable rates CONS: -I didn't feel safe. One night a random guy entered the room. I guess he thought the room was empty? -lots of mosquitoes (not their fault!) but no net on windows. -not a social hostel, avoid for solo travelers

Decent enough hostel to stay for a night after just arriving on Ometepe, but it was totally dead when I was there and the more active hostels are further away on the island.
