Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking

General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

48 hours before the date of Check in

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Property Description

If you are looking to meet and socialise with other friendly travellers, you can choose from 6, 8, 10,12 bed dorm rooms, mixed or female only! The London Home Hostel is a home away from home for backpackers, travellers or someone who just wants to have a chilled and cosy place to stay with all the comforts of home.

We are not a party hostel, but we offer friendly, relaxed 'homely' accommodation. The hostel has a great atmosphere where you can socialise with other travellers to give you that feel for London life. There's no curfew, so you can discover our beautiful city on your own terms!

All bedding is provided. Large, fully equipped shared kitchen, comfortable lounge room with plasma T.V, garden area, night caretaker, daily cleaners, no curfew, FREE INTERNET (basic WiFi connection and shared computers provided), coin operated washer and dryer on site.

Check-in from Monday - Saturday : 11am - 5:45pm. Sunday 11am - 3:45pm
Check- out by 11:00
Cancellation policy is 1 day in advance

We accept payment by cash and credit card. We have a minimum spend of £250 to make payment by credit/debit card.
Any payments made by card incur a 5% surcharge.
Payments by cash/bankers draft are accepted

    Pretty disappointing that they put me in a tiny room in 39 after asking to move to 30 or 51 lots of times for various reasons, they tried to make me pay an extra £119 to move lol. Ridiculous. So I stayed there and it did get better over time (just because of the friendly people though). One of the staff members (Gus) is SO rude. I don't know how he's gotten a job with an attitude like that. The cleaners are lovely, so is Del (the maintenance guy) and Ador was great as always too.

    These folks own 3 houses that have been converted into hostels. On the plus side, you are in a house that is fairly large with a big kitchen and it is a nice part of London. On the negative side, the houses are very crowded and there is no place to go for a quiet moment alone. The people who run the show are very rigid and stone faced. It is not about hospitality with them it is about collecting your rent money. They might be nice when they show you the hostel but it is all business after that.

    You pay for what you get. The staff and people staying over were friendly and the overall atmosphere was calm. The facilities were fine. The private bedroom's window couldn't be opened and the heating would not turn off, causing the air in the room to be stuffy and way too hot. If you are traveling in a group, make sure to book together as the hostel actually has two buildings in different locations and the group might have to split up. Overall an interesting experience.

    Most businesses operate on the basis of customers come first. Here it appears customers come last. At no. 30 the beds are uncomfortable and the rooms are overcrowded. When there is a major problem, an assault for instance the staff refuse to take any action.

    This did not feel like a hostel. The air was very dry and stuffy inside, it was not a place I wanted to hang out. They have 3 properties, I was told I would be at number 39, but when I arrived I was then put in number 30, the communication with the staff was very poor and unclear. There was also no reception, when you arrive you have to call and it took them over 30 minutes to arrive. Also the locker I had broke, it took over an hour for maintenance to show up and we had to force it open.

    office work only till 5 pm so i need to call the care worker. i got at the property around 10 pm and call the number. none answer the number , i keep calling and after 30 min got call back. he told me that the hostel was full and i need to go to different place and give me the address over the phone. after draging my stuff 45 min was able to find the place. they put me in the 2floor, my bed still had the durty sheets, in the room was no plugs for charging , kitchen was messy and dirty.

    Whole room smelt like smoke, we couldn't stay there so checked out after one night. Was promised a refund the next day and it has still not been processed or anyone gotten back to me 4 days later.

    The Hostel has moved location to what it says on Google. Make sure you check the new address before booking as it's 1.5hrs away. Massive waste of money.
