This hostel is absolutely amazing for the price. We stayed for two nights as a group of five and our stay was perfect. The hotel has a very modern unique design and functions similar to an up-market pod hotel. There is a common area lounge with a kitchen (free coffee and other facilities), office area and a nice view of the Main Street and some of Kyoto. The location of the hostel is very central and most places we wanted to visit were within walking distance. Absolutely recommend staying here

Superb hostel! Anyone who has negative reviews about this place must not have stayed in many hostels before! It's amazing! When we checked in we were given a bag with a big towel, small towel, slippers, a wash bag (inc toothbrush, toothpaste, tissues, razor), an iPod to control your light, fan and seating position of your bed. The common area was cool, the free beer hour was a nice surprise, the beds were comfy and private, the showers were hot and roomy! Can't fault the place!

My stay at the millennials was great. The facilities and amenities were top notch and felt like you were staying at a high end hotel. Things were very clean and the bed pods are incredibly cool. You get a full sized bed that can turn into a sofa, auto adjust lights & even set a silent alarm. The only complaint I have is that once you close the curtain in your pod there’s not a lot of room to move around outside of the bed. Also the environment wasn’t super social for solo travelers

Such a fun hostel! Loved the privacy you got and the dorms and bathrooms were so clean and comfortable. Incredible location on the Main main street- 5 min to the train station and 1 min walk to the bus stop that takes you to many famous attractions. Only critique would be getting changed in the pod- didn't bother me but it was quite a small area so hard to stretch. No talking on the dormitory floors makes it one of the least sociable hostels I've been to but they compensated with free beer hour!

I really enjoyed my time at The Millennials. The staff were super friendly and the whole process from checking-in and out was smooth and streamlined. The accommodation and facilities are clean and fresh and the happy hour for free-pour beer between 17:30 - 18:30 is a treat: this also provides the opportunity to meet other travellers. Most definitely recommend for value, location and comfort! :)
