Fantastic place full of lovely people and staff creating a great atmosphere. Superb location making it easy to travel in sydney and around. Great for those who want to enjoy the king cross nightlife too. The place is pretty clean relatively speaking, staffs help making the place comfortable for everybody. Therefore people are respectful and help each other like a family. My colleague even changed backpack to stay here so he could relax. Would definitely recommend and will be back !

Reasonably priced and cozy Kings Cross option. En suite bathroom was spacious and fully functional. Really appreciated the free morning toast and tea. Not the most convenient location compared to other options, but not overly burdensome. Only stayed one night, so can't offer much more detail.

Not recommended for backpackers, since most of the guests are working there and be there for a long stay . Also the reception hours are only between 10-noon and 18-19. (They say 17-19, but they actually show up around 18..)

The place was the cheapest in the city, so we didn't expect too much. It had everything we needed for a short stay, but was just mediocre. We stayed in the 10 person dorm which had a bathroom attached. Facilities were outdated and leaked but worked fine. Biggest problem was that it was so hot and the fans didn't work, so we had to keep the windows open but the mosquitos were terrible and our room was just above the patio so the cigarette smoke was constantly coming into our room.

This hostel allows long term stays, so our 10 bed dorm was very lived in and messy. Long term tenants had clothes and items strewn over the floor, making it difficult or impossible to use storage under bed and lockers. Shower floor was always wet and dirty as there was no bath mat.

Cockroach central! The room smelt terrible and felt like a boys dorm room as they were all long termers. It felt uncomfortable being the only girls. Messy, dirty, not worth the price.

Unfortunately, this hostel missed the mark for me. There are reasons outside of their control, (I stayed right after New Year’s so it’s hot & crowded) but there were many factors in their control. Sink in room was mostly broken, holes in the walls and ceiling of bathroom, outlets effectively inaccessible for top bunks, 1 fan that moved so slowly it created no flow, so the windows were left open, which let in mosquitos (5 bites on my face in a night), a flying roach, & smoke from the patio below.

I saw a rat in the kitchen. Our room was very dirty specially the bartroom. People smoked weed in the bathroom at night. And the place id generally in bad conditions

I have stayed in hundreds of hostels, this was by far one of the worst! I had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk in the middle of the afternoon to check me in. Once I was checked in, I was assigned a 10 bed dorm room. The restroom was disgusting and not sanitary whatsoever.
