They upgraded me a smaller dorm with an ensuite, which was great! Very clean, nice beds with curtains, large lockers. Shower was hot the first night but only lukewarm the second night, not sure why. A lot of staff were new and wasn't yet familiar with Cusco yet. Wasn't packed when I stayed but that didn't stop the nightly parties!

I enjoyed my time at The Point Hostel. Great food, location and clean. One thing this hostel must look at is allowing those who don't wish to party every single night, to actually sleep before 3am. I found it very difficult to sleep through the bar events that are on each night, which sometimes extend to the common areas. I attended some of these and they were great! But a hostel is also a place for rest, which was difficult here, especially before very early morning trips.

A disapPointing experience all around. Showers upstairs weren't working, downstairs were dirty and freezing as no door separating the outside from the bathroom. Breakfast was dismal at best and forgot my order 2 mornings in a row, fried eggs were overcooked and the bread stale. Staff had smiles on their faces but were unhelpful and the card machine was not working forcing you to use the 'conveniently' placed ATM in the lobby that charges for withdrawls. People also smoked inside (wtf?).
