Would not recommend. This is not a hostel; it is a bar with a few rooms above it. It was very disappointing for numerous reasons: 1. no hot water for shower, 2. no wifi in the room, 3. no towels provided until the second day and after requesting them, 4. the room was not clean - there was food debris on the floor, 5. the facilities stated do not exist - no towels for hire, no common room, no hot showers, wifi access is precarious. I would avoid this place - it gives a bad impression of Killarney

Ollie will promise you the moon and stars via phone but none will come true I stayed for 11 nights. I booked on the basis of kitchen facilities being available. these consisted of an oven and hot water. No utensils to cook, no fridges to store anything and to make it worse, it was in a storage room underneath multiple boxes which had to be moved to access anything. 1st night the shower was freezing, I was told the plumber had been called.. 10 nights later.. water still freezing I left early!

The room was dirty. There’s mould on the ceiling, one of the two big glass shower tiles was missing and later I saw it on the floor in the hall used as a door stop to keep the hall door open. The shower didn’t get warm. We decided not to use it. It’s a push button shower, which would be finer if the water coming out was warm but it’s cold and sputters everywhere as there’s no shower head. The bed wasn’t comfortable it’s an old spring mattress. Spend a bit more and stay elsewhere.

There is a lot of this potential in this property, it has a great location and bar/restaurant. However, the hygiene standards in the accommodation completely let the hostel down. There was no soap in the bathroom which is not great given the current pandemic. In addition, there was no warm water in the showers, which I think is a fairly basic necessity. Even though the hostel is very affordable, I think a little more cleanliness is not beyond would not be asking for too much.

While the location is great and I didn't expect much for the low price, this was easily the worst place I have ever stayed in. The room wasn't en suite as stated; the shower was next door and filthy while I had to use the staff toilets which were blocked up. I ended up leaving a day early after being kept awake by the sound of rats running overhead all night. Please avoid and spend extra somewhere else.

I dont know how this place is open with all the conditions places have to follow to re-open, as soon as we went in the door to go to the room it was filthy, smelly, absolutely disgusting, room was horrible, toilet had no lock on door or no light, bin over flowing, no hand towel, no soap, shower was disgusting, filthy, with a build up of scum that is definitely there years, very disappointed, as my sons are big Lord of the Rings fans & they could not wait to leave, lucky we only had 1 night

    1. Its not a hotel/ hostel . It is a motel for drunk people to spend their night. Though we booked private en-suit , it was a nightmare 2. Hairs all over the room , washroom and bed . 3. Mould on walls 4. Tiles broken in bathroom 5. Bed is more of springs than a foam 6. Duvet not clean , visible dust all over 7. Pictures are deceiving from actual situation 8. No toiletries provided 9. No breakfast included 10. Only service included was a towel but hey .. none was provided 11. Hot water wa
