Clean, secure hostel with a really great host and great kitchen facilities. The host dried out clothes for us and was very friendly and helpful. It's located right in the village beside the various pubs and restaurants. Also a bike lock up area at the back.

Chris was a delight to deal with. The Sleepy Camel is absolutely spotless and the bathrooms are great with super hot showers. The kitchen is great and the dining area lends itself to being a really great place to mix with the others staying in the hostel. The beds was comfy and the hostel is really central if you love the outdoors, there are mountains and trails fro running, trail running and mountain biking right on your doorstep. Will be back.

I was welcomed very warmly by Chris, the hostel manager, who was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. There is a huge library and plenty of space for hanging out.

    Very Good

Plus: rooms have an adjacent bathroom, everything is clean and tidy. Minus: main area smells a bit old and the rooms definitely need new beds - impossible to sleep on those squeaky old ones

    Very Good

Old, budget accommodation - good for a stopover on your hike but I wouldn't stay long. The girl who checked us in was nice enough, though she told us that there'd be a "Light, Self-service Breakfast" in the morning... Which was basically one loaf of bread for toasting and one tiny box of muesli flakes (just the cereal bit, no fruit or nuts/seeds etc!). No real atmosphere, wouldn't want to hang out here.

What we liked: -The beds are comfy. What we did not like: -According to the website there should be breakfast in the morning. The evening-staff said there would be breakfast in the morning, but there was none. (There was also no staff present in the morning.) -The building is quite poorly soundproofed. If anyone moves anywhere in the building you will hear it. The hostel is good for a one night stopover for hikers who bring their own breakfast.
