Very pleasant experience. Hostel is clean, staff are friendly, price is definitely reasonable and the location is pretty good. It is only about a 10 minute walk to Odori park, and about a 10-15 minute walk to the main city center where you'll find Round One Arcade and Ramen Alley. The first floor has a nice layout if you want to hang out with freinds as well. Would definitely recommend.

Feels more like a hotel than a hostel, clean room and facilities. However it's not really close to any subway stations and requires some walking. Still definitely worth it for the price.

I was here during the snow festival. They offered a free drink ticket at the bar, which was really nice. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. When I first came in, the staff seemed really busy and I was there early to just drop off some stuff. The bartender the night I went was super friendly and nice. My only complaint is how cold it was in the bathrooms! I understand the hallways maybe being cold, but I was freezing when I went to shower. Aside from that, I really enjoyed it!

Staff were very kind! Check in was very easy. Beds were not the most comfortable, but they were spacious. Only small lockers for valuables, so can’t lock away a big backpack. Bathrooms had great water pressure, but smelled a bit like sewage. Overall good experience and would stay here again!

The room was a lot larger than I anticipated which was great. Separate private shower and toilet in the room. We had the deluxe twin private room. Beds are traditional Japanese mattress on tatami mat. Took a little getting used to but I took it in as part of the Japan experience. Haha. Didnt really use the kitchen or eating area that much but looked nice to chill in.
