We absolutely loved our stay at The Treehouse! We originally only planned to visit for the Friday night party (which we had been told was an absolute must in Nicaragua and can confirm it is). After such a banging party, where we met tons of great people whilst partying above the treetops, we decided to come and stay for the night a few days after. We arrived on the most miserable day, however the staff organised fun games of drink and draw as well as quizzes, which we really enjoyed after a delicious tuna t

A major highlight of my 3-month backpacking trip was staying here. There are activities all the time, the staff is amazing, and the location is unforgettable. There is no kitchen, but the meals are delicious and they also give you HUGE portions, so it's absolutely worth it, even on a backpacker budget. And of course, the rave was insane. In the best possible way. This is a can't-miss place in Nicaragua, even if you're not a party person there's tons of fun stuff to do.

Stayed in the treehouse double. Wow! This is a unique open air experience and worth treating yourself. Thurs was very chilled during the day & staff had a good balance of building some atmosphere for a relaxed kareoke in the evening. Toilets & sink areas clean. Food portions generous. When my boyfriend became ill & struggled to get back down the mountain, staff went above & beyond to help us down safely, supporting him & carrying our bags. Very steep slippery rocks as steps, wear proper shoes!

Amazing stay! If you like a big night then stay on the Friday for the party! Met great people. Staff super friendly and helpful. Lovely chilled vibe in day too with free activities such as yoga and tie die. Free shuttles to/from Grenada every day. A little bit of a walk up a stony path from the dorm to the main social space but it’s not bad. Take cash as they can’t accept card. Yummy food and large portions. Bear in mind toilet and shower facilities are basic - to be expected in the rainforest!!

Love love LOVEDDDDD the Treehouse!!! My favorite hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was amazing, particularly Ryan and Jerome. We loved the party of course, but we also enjoyed the other activities with partook in (community tour, drink & draw, trivia, karaoke). Would come back here again. Most beautiful hostel on earth.

This is a must stay when in Granada, even if it’s just for 1 night! The staff are great and the atmosphere in the week is really chilled with loads of activities etc and obviously the Friday party is fab too. The food here is great (one or two options for breakfast lunch and dinner, changing everyday) and not expensive for what you get. We stayed in a treehouse for 2 nights and a dorm for the other 2 and this was great. Bit of a hike up but deffo worth it! Expect fun festival vibes!!!!

The constant focus on partying and drinking by some of the staff makes it a lot less enjoyable if you're there during the week to enjoy this magnificent location and not keen on the Friday rave vibes. Should be careful that their own history doesn't repeat itself. The treehouse could be so much better with more focus on the community, nature and conservation and less the party, drugs and alcohol. The food was nice. And the views are stunning.

Mainly booked as everyone says this is an essential stop in Nicaragua, but it's a bit overhyped. We didn't go for Friday party as it's not our scene. Place seemed dead in the week, not much atmosphere at all. Some staff made us feel a bit uncomfortable for not wanting to drink. They don't actually offer a Masaya tour, just offer to book you a taxi. Very loud at night if you're staying in the treehouse. Community tour was great though. If you don't want to party, not worth staying at all.
