Group Booking Terms and Conditions

Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking

General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

Cancellations Fees
All Cancellation has to be in writing and fax back to us.
You must have confirmation letter back from us in writing to get any entitled refunds.
Any cancellation made before stay commencement will result in the forfeiture of
20% of the total deposit.
Any cancellation made within a week of stay commencement will result in the forfeiture of
20% of the total amount payable.
Any cancellation made on stay commencement will result in the forfeiture of
the total amount payable.

Additional Terms and Conditions


Prices subject to change from time to time without notice prior to bookings being accepted.
Bookings are transferable with sufficient notice (10 days or more).

All guests must observe the rules and regulations of our Hotels.
It is recommended that guests not leave their valuables or cash in their rooms.
Valuables may be stored in the Hotel safes.
The Hotels are not responsible for theft or lost of guest property
or any injuries caused to guests or friends of guest.
All guests are advised to take out their own personal and travel insurance.

Arrival and Check-out Times
The Hotel Offices are open for check-in from 8:00a.m - 10p.m.
Checkout time is 10a.m on the day of departure.

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

NO check-in/check-out Policy: 25th December, 26th December, 31st December, 1st January.

This means over Christmas, everyone will need to be checked in by 24th December and can’t check-out until the 27th. Over New Year, everyone will be in by December 30th and can’t check-out until 2nd January.

PAYMENTS: All the payments for bookings made in these period will be taken on the 1st of December 2019. View House Rules

    After reading all the reviews the morning of my stay I was dreading it! But I was pleseantly surprised! My room was a 5 bed female dorm with ensuite and it seemed clean. The village has the Goki app so when the reception was closed I messaged them on there and Tas came straight away, he was really helpful and let me check in early. All in all it was good!

    I got locked out of my room and there was no one on the premises to help. I was locked out in my pj's for over 1.5 hours. Also no one to help with check-in or anything else. Lucky the other guests were friendly and helpful.

    kitchen was very dirty, water at the shower: cold, cold, cold, HOT, HOT , luke warm….. terrible. not enought forks, i found just one knife at the kitchen. guy at the reception was friendly

    Hostel kitchen was disgusting with insects in the microwave, dishes piled high because there were no towels or cloths to dry them. Staff were a bit weird and hardly ever there. No wifi in my room. Hostel was on a busy road which is not a problem except the reception didn't have any ear plugs which in a hostel is ridiculous. Not worth the cheap price or savings, wish I had paid $10 more a night for somewhere better. Do not recommend

    There was no reception, no staff present. Someone had been living in the room for months, mouldy food, dirty dishes, holes in the walls, broken furniture. The showers were covered in mould. The Wifi was non-existent. I booked for two nights but an email said my key would expire the next afternoon and I'd be locked out. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Luckily I was able to stay with a friend instead. Do not stay here.

    Please don't stay here. Respect yourself and pay the extra 20 dollars a night for a place that isn't a den. Everything about this place was vile. Bathrooms caked in embedded dirt, weeks of dust build up in the bedrooms, itchy bug ridden beds and a kitchen which gave me food poisining just looking at it. I didn't even want to make a cup of tea in it. The lowest standards I have ever encountered.

    this place was absolutely horrible and the service was practically non existent. after a 9 hour drive from victoria my room was unexpectedly cancelled without any notice. upon arriving at the hostel there were no staff to help us resolve this problem and no one was answering the phone. while being stranded in a city i had never been to, i had to fork out $300 to pay for a hotel for the night. the next day i called to make a complaint and the lady was uncooperative and rude. this place sucks.

    THIS PLACE WAS DISGUSTING. You are misleading people!!! You need to take it down from your site IMMEDIATELY. It is disgusting and decrepit. I've never seen anything like it in all the global hostels i've stayed at. I'm an australian and I never expected aus to have a place this bad. Mould everywhere. Nothing has been cleaned in over a year. Seedy people lodging here long term. LOOK AT THE GOOGLE REVIEWS for past year, all 1 star. Look at the current photos on google reviews too.
