Property Description

The White Rabbit is a guesthouse aiming to provide budget accommodation in Halkidiki for travellers and backpackers.
We are in favour of permaculture design, while we try to have environmental good practices in our everyday operation.
We mainly consume and provide to our visitors our local organic products to prepare their meals, while we are making our own soaps and cleaners, in order to reduce our impact to the environment.
It is a typical Halkidiki countryhouse, with a 500sq.m. garden and balconies that overview the olive groves and the sea.
Accomondation is possible either in dorm rooms either in private rooms.

A small fleet of bicycles is available for free to our guests. View House Rules

I loved my stay here! I went in the winter so I was able to enjoy the serene and beautiful nature with basically zero other tourists. I hear it is much busier in Sumer! Beautiful location, lovely and friendly staff. I had an absolutely wonderful stay!

I loved my stay a and will be returning! A lovely chilled hostel with such kind and helpful staff, generous with their time and help. A beautifully decorated hostel, with a wonderful garden and friendly dogs! Aristi and Stafis made my stay really memorable. The van bar in the garden was a great mingling spot in the evenings and the music was great. If you are looking to explore the area this is a good base and the beach is just 20 minutes walk away. Two hours by bus from Thessaloniki.

Amazing place. Central location to explore Halkidiki, good rooms and facilities and great atmosphere. Especially the garden bar, bbq night, free bikes and the amazingly friendly people with all their advice made staying here a treat. Highly recommended!

We only stayed for one night but the hostel was a lucky choice. The staff was very friendly and even offered us a dinner in the evening for little money. The view from our room (Twin Private) was towards the olive plantation behind the house which is just lovely. Only thing to keep in mind is that there are three dogs (which are cute) on the property of the hostel. So if you're not cool with that it might not be a good choice. For us it was fine and we can definitely recoment the hostel.

Lovely guest house with a wonderful atmosphere and very easy to get to! Galilaia has lots of information about where to visit and she's super friendly. There are beautiful beaches within a short cycle and bikes available to borrow. Lots of communal space and a well equipped kitchen (supermarket is 5 mins walk). When booking read the notes, one of the dorms is a 10-bed eco dorm in the basement - it's a lovely big space but doesn't have a/c. There are dogs and cats but they stay mainly outside.

Overall not impressed. The hostel is really out of the way from anywhere interesting. There appear to be a few hostel dogs that bark all the time and one tried to bite me. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

There were no other guests the whole time I stayed at the hostel, just a few friendly volunteers who work on the property. The common area was nice and there were fresh fruits and vegetables that guests could take. However, the sheets, towels, and bathrooms weren't really clean, and the dogs barked often and extremely loudly right outside the room. In addition, if you are thinking of staying at this hostel, I highly recommend renting a car. Otherwise it is difficult to go anywhere.

We booked a private room. When we arrived, the woman said "we have a special occasion" and laughed, like it would be a surprise. Actually: the private rooms are full and we need to sleep in the dorms.. Okay.. Pity, we didnt get the information before. But then we got a price sale. The woman was less friendly after the sale.
