Second time in Rarotonga, but first time at Tiare Village. Whaea Adrienne, who is the property manager was also an AMAZING hostess. Her and her husband were very welcoming upon arrival. The whole atmosphere had a GREAT sense of relaxation and true holiday experience. I loved how town was also in walking distance if you wanted to take a nice sunny walk. I recommend this village to stay at but also anywhere on the island. Ngā mihi nui rawa ki a koutou te iwi o Rarotonga, ki a Whaea Adrienne hoki

Adrienne is super hospitable, making us feel at home and going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was basic but comfortable and the property offered us affordable accommodation so we still had plenty to us for activities and attractions.

Adrienne was very friendly and accommodating. clear instructions for check-in were given when I arrived outside office hours. Atmosphere is very laid back. Large common room for socialising but there were only 3 occupied rooms when I was there. It's a small hostel but lovely. KS from singapore

The hostel has a nice location sourrounded with a lot of trees. You can pick all sorts of fruits in the garden just ask the gardener where you can find them. The facilities are very old and could need a update. Don‘t let any food in the room, ants are gonna like it! And during the nights it is always pretty loud with all the animals around (cocks, dogs ect). Adrienne is very nice and gave me the first day a ride into town.

Near back side of airport, long walk from airport entrance, needs taxi to/from airport 15NZD one way if you have baggage or its night as there are no street lights. >700m from bus stop on ring road. No laundry facilities on site, towel extra charge, limited hours available staff on site. Internet charged extra and is very expensive.A local SIM might be better value. Room spacious and clean, kitchen and fridge available. Lady who runs place looked busy and rushed and not really to give info.
