I think Ticuchi was the best hostel I’ve ever been. The rooms where super spacious with big lockers, Ventilators and curtains. The common area was perfect with the pool. Super prices for the drinks. Crew was super nice. The rooms are very open and bathrooms were outside so you had to get used to that, but there was constantly someone cleaning. The people staying there was super open and we had great times. Location is pretty good and an oxxo is just next door. Will definitely come again and recommend it to

Hands down my favourite hostel in all of Mexico. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable, the common area had everything...i really didnt want to leave! The family dinner was delicious, the salsa dancing class was so much fun and the drinks were so good! Oaxaca is great, but staying here makes it all the better!

I had a great time at Ticuchi Hostal! The atmosphere was fun, never too loud to sleep but still lively. My only complaint is that the hot water in the showers was unreliable. But for the price and the overall good experience, I didn’t mind that much. I enjoyed karaoke night, dancing, and a delicious family dinner of pozole. The facilities were cleaned daily. The bar was good and cheap and I often returned to the hostel during the hottest hours of day to sit in the pool with a drink and read.

This is a great hostel! The beds are really comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately there was no hot water, and a lot of the lockers are broken, making it difficult to store valuable items securely. Definitely enjoyed the vibe of this hostel though!

This is a great hostel, quite beautiful. Although I didn’t really meet anyone here (I had a weird experience. Someone stole food out of my bag, someone left a half eaten pear on my bed.) I can tell that others enjoyed their stay and were having a good time. My only real complaint is there not being enough bathrooms for the amount of hostel beds.
