What a lovely hostel. location was brilliant, staff were so helpful and friendly, and it was ideally situated to travel around Mull for sightseeing and hill climbing. Beds were very comfortable and had a pleasant nights sleep every night. would highly recommend staying here to friends and family.

Great location overlooking the harbour in the heart of the town with easy access to all the shops and cafes etc. We had a twin room which was spacious, clean and had a lovely view. Facilities in the room were very basic but comfortable enough. Shared bathroom areas were spotless. Kitchen area was well equipped. Staff were excellent. The only negative, which is unavoidable, is that you can hear everything, floors creaking, doors opening and closing, voices, shower etc.

A comfortable and clean hostel in a convenient location. It is a small dorm which gives enough privacy and mingling with others pleasant. We had a beautiful view from our room.

Bedroom not that clean, but alright. Had to go through outside stairs to get to the showers, probably quite painful to do in winter ! But located on the harbour, that is quite nice.

Overall good location and setup, building is clean and brings good atmosphere. Rooms have limited charging ports and not many showers available leaving you waiting in line. Friendly and helpful staff. Happy with my stay.

It is very expensive for quite a basic hostel - for example the breakfast - I can't remember exactly how much it cost but it was poor quality and left on the side in the same area as those making their own food and we had to wash up in that same tiny kitchen/eating area. Facilities for overnight bike storage were also limited - it is a brilliantly positioned youth hostel - perhaps city hostels could subsidise it but it needs to be thought about cleverly and sympathetically and marketed better.

The shower in the ladies bathroom was warm but water was weak. My guy friend had to go down 2 levels to use the guys bathroom and he complained that the shower was cold.
