I guess it's new to hostelworld... so first review! Don't worry, it had a wide variety of people staying there (and not booking on hostelworld). Staff was welcoming and could speak great english, and cafe downstairs had a cool atmosphere, with people from nearby even hanging out and using it as a cafe. The bathrooms and showers and rooms were clean, and beds comfy (maybe a little hard for us westerners). Location is an extra ten minutes from center of town compared to others, but still nice area

Very close to the Ferries to Korea, I would have walked If I had known how direct the route was. The hostel is not central but literally two minutes from the Subway. The staff were friendly and helpful No breakfast but no hostel that I stayed at in Japan offered Breakfast so I guess that this is the norm.

Really good, peaceful and well managed. Two metro stops from town but seriously the walk is easy 10 minutes and it's safe at night. We really liked Tonagi and the cafe downstairs looked good but was unnecessary as they give free tea upstairs 24 hours. Thanks

Only stayed one night, but it was a comfortable place near where I wanted to go. It's not that close to the station, but you can access it easily enough via bus or subway. Cute cafe downstairs. Easy-to-use facilities.

    Fabulous

Modern hostel in Fukuoka. It's a bit out of the way, but Fukuoka isn't a huge city so that's to be expected. There's a subway station less that two mins walk away, so very easy to get to where the action's happening. Beds were comfy, communal areas were clean, showers decent. We found the kitchen area very minimal and not particularly inviting. The cafe/bar downstairs was v trendy and comfortable but not much of an atmosphere. Overall, would recommended, hopefully the atmosphere picks up.

    Fabulous

Overall the hostel was nice but we couldn’t use hot water in the showers after midnight. There were only two toilets and two shower stalls in the floor I stayed (i.e., 2nd floor). The toilets are for both male and female and it wasn’t very clean. Guys tend to leave pee stains on the seats so I prefer to have separate toilets for male and female. The breakfast was good. You get a 100¥ discount coupon so we had a toast set for breakfast which also included a drink for only 400¥.
