You get what you pay for in this hostel. There are no cooking facilities, no real common room, no ironing or hair straightening for example. However I had a pleasant stay and the man running it took some time as I checked in to go through transport into Venice, local bars and shops on a little map I was able to keep. This was really helpful. There are only 3 rooms in the entire hostel but I found this to be a great thing as you get to know the other stayers really quickly. One of my best stays!

It was small and had all of the basic necessities. It was very clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Only hassle was the 4 hr window to check in. Other than that everything was great.

It's one of those hostels that I reckon used to be a pension, since it is located in an old building. The staff is very helpful, but the place doesn't have much to offer. There are lockers in the rooms though, so that is quite nice, and the facilities are clean. Essentially, it is the cheapest place in Venice in summer, and it is very close to the train station and only one stop away from the Island of Venice, so I would say all in all it is worth it!

I found it difficult to locate the hostel, there was no big sign and it was only because I spotted the piece of paper on a door that I knew. There's a big sign on the door warning you to not ring the wrong bell or the neighbours will call the police, I found this very intimidating. No one was in the hostel to answer the door but then Jonny arrived and he was brilliant. He gave us brilliant directions and was really friendly. Rooms aren't the cleanest and the fans are noisy but it's what you pay.

You pay for what you get- there are limited facilities but it has all the essentials. It's really close to the train station which has easy access to Venice. Staff were really friendly and helped to explain transport/shops - there's a night bus running through the night from Venice. Good for a cheap stay!
