This was my first time staying in a hostel and travelling solo so I was very nervous and wasnt sure what to expect. However, my nerves were immediatley put to rest when I arrived as I was made to feel so welcome by the staff and by all who were already staying there. The receptionists are the loveliest people and the tour guide Fabio (who showed us the northern lights) was the best guide we could have asked for. Thanks for making my stay so special! Will def stay again =)

I mean, these guys are amazing. I want to thank them so much. They made my stay amazing, they’re considerate, responsible and really helpful. When I got there, they had some issues with their fire safety systems so they could not accommodate me but they booked me into another place and provided pick and drop while I was there, and on top of that, they discounted my stay. Also, I really want to thank Naoko for making me feel so welcome.

Initially I was apprehensive because it was a quaint place however later I saw the advantage of this! This was one of the best hostel stays that I have had. Due to the very design of the hostel, one gets to interact with the other travellers. We (those staying in the hostel when I was there) had so much of fun, discussions, debates and we all went back happy with new friends This hostel is also located close to the city centre and they have a friendly dog called "Burger"

Really just a place to leave your staff and sleep. No real complaints other than the shower really needs work!! Very expensive for what it is but I guess thats Tromsø. The tour you can book from them is amazing!! Definitely recommend it! Fabio, Akos and Jess really made my stay there a special one. Thanks guys

It's the most expensive hostel I've ever stayed in, but the only one in Tromsø. The owners are VERY friendly and it's clean. The Northern Light trip arranged by the hostel was great, and managed to see awesome auroras!! The only thing I was concerned about was the fact that reception was only open for a few hours, so no one around to ask questions or for assistance (emergencies, late check in, early check out, general questions, etc). Great atmosphere though!

It's a nice hostel. A bit pricey, but this is Norway. The location is perfect. In general I found the place to be very clean. The kitchen was a decent size. The bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were nice but incredibly tiny, and the showers quickly shut off without interaction. There's no lockbox in the rooms. I stayed in the gray building, separate from the building with reception and common area, so it was a bit quiet and not terribly social. But I found this to be nice and relaxing.

    Very Good

The door lock codes don't change so anyone who has ever stayed there could easily key in the code and enter. Our room is only a few steps from the entrance and there's rarely anyone at the reception, which is understandable. But I wish they could invest in a key card system. I know it's Norway, but if someone screwed up on the head can enter the house that easily, what's to stop them from picking up people's phones and cameras while they sleep?
