Modern & traditional Norwegian hostel, communal single gender dorms and showers for comfort, convenience and safety. On a hill with a view in suburbia but a nice shirt walk to city centre. Not trying to beva hôtel or anti social, its a communal living space. Great kitchen, well stocked and looked after. Wide enough beds of a bit creaky. Comfort was aided by cv19 restrictions. Would return.

I didn’t hang out here much - just stayed one night, but I was impressed by how kind the receptionist was, the ease of checking in, and the security (keyless entry into hostel and room with a fob, and very large lockers in rooms). The washrooms were very clean and private (one shower and toilet in one washroom so you get the whole thing to yourself), as were the rooms. I was happy that this hostel has quiet hours, and I got a great night’s sleep!

Wonderful place on the hills overlooking Trondheim. Not right by the city, but within walking distance. Great and helpful staff and a clean kitchen with everything you need.

Few guests may be the reason for the high price not including sheets, towel or breakfast. Coffee and tea are free of charge for though. Well equipped hostel a 20-min partly uphill walk from the nice centre.

I thought it was a good hostel with friendly, helpful staff! The rooms and bathroom were clean. My only complaint is that the price for the sheets and breakfast was quite a lot after already paying a lot for a room in Trondheim. If they weren't so much it would be great!

They need to fix the latching mechanisms on the lockers. They didnt work. It would have helped if I had a secure place to store my small valuables. They offered to store things for me but that wouldn't have been convenient for either of us.

    Very Good

For the purpose of my stay, I got what I needed from this hostel. The location could be better in terms of being closer to the centre, but it was close to the airport bus stops. Atmosphere is rock bottom 0 here - people might say 'hi' but it's not a social place. Breakfast is not worth it (I recommend going to a supermarket and buy a pack of things to eat during your morning here). Bring your own lock for the locker. Security is good at night but use your locker during the day.

The building is very new, bright and looks good. The window in my room didn't work and could be opened from the outside untill I noticed, however the reception staff fixed it when asked. There was an annoying noise coming from the ventilation, tho it can be easily shut out with earplugs. The toilets and showers are good, kitchen is okay. My biggest issue with this hostel is the bad atmosphere. It's quite hard to meet people, feels like you're alone. It's overpriced (linen not even included!)
