    Superb

I haven't stayed anywhere like Uncles. I am so glad I did. I met interesting people and saw a side to Siem Reap I probably wouldn't have, had I stayed closer to pub street. The food was great. The staff is cheerful & helpful. You can walk to "pub street area" in 15 min. Beds are affordable yet comfortable. The fan was perfect for me, I don't need aircon... I would recommend Uncle's to anyone! Book here! At least one night!

    Fabulous

It's definitely a budget hostel, but I needed somewhere quiet to do some work and it is about 1.5 km away from some of the parties (Funky Lane). They want you to feel comfortable and safe. It's not the most exciting hostel, but everyone who worked there were super sweet and would help accommodate. It's the perfect place if you want something very quiet and invasive

    Fabulous

These guys are super friendly & helpful. I enjoyed their hospitality right from the minute I stepped in. Pros - decent beds (no bunk) & mattresses, clean facilities, super amazing staff, 15 mins bicycle ride away from Pub Street, quiet atmosphere, yet close to all conveniences, decent food served in house. Cons - common area to chill is small, so hard to see guests outside for chit chat or playing board games or drinking beer...

Great hosts and amazing price. A bit out of the way but you get what you pay for and not a hassle at all to get to more central Siem Reap. Only issue was that door was only locked from inside so stuff didn’t feel that secure if you were out for the day

Very friendly and familiar hostel! You really experience the life in Cambodia. Might be a few blocks away from the centre but you can get a bike over there. The hosts are incredible, always willing to help!

Cheapest hostel ever and great value!! I would say that it’s very basic and no lockers that I knew of, but feels very safe anyways. The sink is outside, but the bathrooms are inside so that’s odd, but you get a free bike rental with your stay. Super loved that. It’s a bit hidden, but that’s part of the charm. I would say it’s a place worth supporting.

    Very Good

For this price I can't complain much, but in fact the hostel is pretty dirty and everything they sell is overpriced, laundry, tours, foods. It's still cheap, but I found the same things 2 or 3 times cheaper. I would not stay again, next time I'll pay a little bit more to have a decent accommodation. Don't take the floating village tour with them, the place is nice, but the service is terrible.

    Good

Good hostel all in all. The location didn't really bother us seeing as we prefer to spend time in the local parts of town. there's plenty of restaurants and an excellent meat market up the road. The layout of the hostel is very interesting because there are no bunk beds and we kind of liked it. Our only issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Our beds were on the furthest end of the room from the bathrooms but the urinal smell was terrible throughout the whole room.

Somewhat of a nuisance to locate bit overall on ok stay. The positives are bicycle rental and a fan above each bed. The negatives are the complete lack of security. The one and only door to the guests area has no lock or key system and is 6 feet from an open alley way. Theres no mosquito nets. No shower towels, no bedding just a mattress sheet. The toilets and drainage smells bad even from the beds. Fine for 1 night but not for more than that.
