This modern yet industrial-style hostel doesn't just offer you a bed in the very best location. We work hard to create a socially inclusive environment where anybody can be themselves and make good friends while joining various daily activities, family dinners (always vegan-friendly), pub crawls, or just being around and chilling with us. It is mainly about experiencing the unexpected.

We encourage you to join our legendary Elephants activities (together with our sister hostel), such as daily events, Slovak lunches, family dinners, and pub crawls. We will show you a side of Bratislava you didn't know existed. We will take you to places off the beaten track that only a few true locals know about, which will allow you to see the city differently. For example, visiting abandoned buildings, conquering castles, or trying some Slovak craft beers in cozy local bars.

The Urban Elephants Hostel Terms and Conditions

AGE RESTRICTION IS FROM 18 TO 40 YEARS OLD.

Cancellation policy: 48h before the check-in date

Late cancellation or no show: full amount charge

We charge a deposit for the key and damages of 10 euros, to be paid in cash.

Check-in from 15:00

Check out before 11:00

Breakfast not included

Arriving late at night? Don't worry, just ring our bell and our receptionist will open the door for you in a couple of minutes.

We do not accept stag, hen, birthday parties, and similar kinds of groups that fly into Bratislava just to get drunk, whatever the number of people is.

We do not accept groups of over 14 people, even if you have different reservations

You must stay on your assigned bed. Moving beds without telling staff will incur a fee of the same amount as the current rate for your selected room.

The smoking fee inside the hostel is 120EUR - and immediately leaving the hostel without any refund.

We keep the right to cancel your reservation or immediately turn you away with no refunds if you violate any of our policies.

Government tourist tax is 3.5 EUR per night per person and is NOT included in the price of your reservation.

We do not allocate bunks and operate a first-in-first-choice policy, therefore we are unable to offer any preferred choice between upper or lower bunks.
