Great hostel near Huaraz's main square. It offers tours at competitive prices. The hostel also serves decent breakfast. Room and showers were comfy and clean, communal spaces had books, games and a great terrace view.

I loved the hostel! The beds are comfy and the family owning this is super nice and helpful! The breakfast is a basic one but it is for free and enough to get full. Also the location is very calm and nice. I recommend staying here :)

The family who run this hostel were really accommodating and friendly. This place is great value for money and has a very cosy feel to it. If I was back in Huaraz I'd stay here again for sure.

    Fabulous

Owners are very nice and helpful. Rooms are cold. There’s a little shortage on bathrooms so there’s always a wait. Kitchen could do with more equipment. Breakfast very basic. There’s a nice lounge with a big tv and Netflix for the days you’re chilling after a massive hike. Cheap and you get a lot for what you pay for.

    Fabulous

Breakfast is just your typical bread-jam-butter with banana. Showers are hot with good pressure, but the past few days there were problems with the water being cold and wifi not working. However, a week ago there was a very nice volunteer working there who was fired for helping me find a tour through an agency outside the hostel (he helped me because the hostel did not offer the easier Santa Cruz trek for the day I wanted). So remember their treatment of their staff when it comes to booking.

    Very Good

We had a nice stay here. The fitted sheets are too small, so every night we ended up waking up to the fitted sheet at the bottom of the bed and us on the bare mattress (gross), but other than that it’s a really nice place with a great view and location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very clean.

Pros: location, cheap tours, price, hot shower. Cons: basic breakfast, no atmosphere, basic dorms, old structure. Anyway, for that price you can’t ask more!

Really a cheap hostel, but the facility was bad. There's only one hot shower in the hostel, and the room was so dirty and lack of maintenance. Floor in my room is broken and full of hair, door is so loud when it open, and there's no housekeeping after guests' checkout. They let the guest to check-in in the very early morning, and there's a dog keep barking every night that I can't even sleep by this. They do offer cheap tour, but the pickup arrangement was a mess.
