The atmosphere and food were second to none. View was brilliant at night and the buffet was fantastic. Dorm beds were very, very basic and the shared bathroom was a bit gross. Staff very helpful though and its definitely good value for money

Valentine Inn is a convenient place to stay, very affordable, but a bit soul-less... Staff is helpful and kind, but they do love business... Prices are very reasonable though considering you're around the most visited site in Middle east...

It was a totally ok hostel for this price. Would definitely stay there again. It’s just very basic, not the cleanest, breakfast is quite okay, nothing special though. Dinner is very good! And very cheap as well! Close to Petra, they even offer free transport to and from it. Staff is not the friendliest, but still it is worth a stay.

Fine, average hostel. Simple and uncomplicated. Perfectly okay for a one-night stay in Petra. Staff were friendly and offered to help drive us and pick us up from Petra and to the bus station. Nice outside seating area in the evening to talk with other guests and travellers. Very backpack vibe. Wifi doesn't reach the dorm but is available elsewhere.

Heat is not included in the basic dorm price and you have to be a pinguen to survive without it. If I remember it is 3jd extra which is not to say that little for this type of basic accommodation. The buffet is tasty but it is not replenished and the best items go way to fast if you are late few minutes you many not see any of it. 8 jd for a vegetarian buffet is not that little money so it would be nice if there is enough to go around :)

Web site advertise shared rooms of 6 beds. When i got there there were 11 beds. Staff just gave excuses for it. 11 people got to share a bathroom, what a joke. There was no other available outside. Hot water just from 5 to 7 am. Believe it, you can imagine how it was with noise starting at 5 am. There were 2 outlets in a room for 11 people. How in the hell you charge your phone or camera. There were no keys in the room, everybody moving in and out as they please.

Major problems: 1)I booked an 8 bed dorm and they put me in a 16 bed dorm, apparently it happens often. Staff are rude 2)DON’T BUY THEIR WADI RUM tour. It’s the worst tour I’ve ever done. The guide has a very old car, from 50 years ago (and he even brag about it). The “jeep” tour, which was supposed to last 4 to 5 hours, lasted only 1 hour maximum. And then the guy dropped me off in his “cousins” tent, because he told me that his guests would arrive late and he didn’t want me to be there alone
