This hostel is a bit outside of town, but I loved the local vibe and the amazing staff! The price is amazing, and they even upgraded us to private rooms because the room we booked was unavailable. If you are okay walking ten minutes into town, I highly recommend you stay here!

The staff and owners were super friendly, the space is large and beautiful. A perfect getaway spot from Cusco, quiet and on the outskirts of Urubamba, and close to the Salt Flats. Very homey, relaxing, and accommodating and a very authentic feel

It was a very cool hostel! There was a modern bathroom separated for men and women. The breakfast is sufficient and much more than we had in other hostels. The operators speak English. There are offers for the guests of karaoke, beer pong tournament, movie night etc. and a bar with hammocks to get in touch with others! In addition there is a football pitch. This is great! In general, a great hostel which completely makes up for the location (quite out of the way)! The construction is finish.

We stayed for a week whilst volunteering in Urubamba and had a really great experience. David the host was really kind and helpful with recommendations for things to do, room was great and kitchen facilities were also! Big garden and balcony to relax in and we loved Pepe the dog :) great value for money, beautiful location and even had a little barbecue that we got involved with! Would stay again

Blissfully away from Urubamba’s center, Valle Verde is built to be a backpacker powerhouse. Tons of chill-out spaces, on-location restaurant with great food, welcoming informal staff and all the info you’ll need to check-out the whereabouts. Juan Pablo has recommended the great hike on the Sahuay, which is literally in the backyard. Definitely recommend it as a base to explore El Valle Sagrado :)

It's clear the place is trying to renovate and could be cool in the future. The rooms and common areas appear to be a work in progress and not complete. The credit card reader was broken, we only got hot water for 3 minutes at a time, and the unheated rooms coupled with big cooler sized hole in the bathroom meant sleeping under 4 blankets plus our clothes. They staff was accommodating and gave us rides when needed. It's notable this location is pretty inconvenient for pretty much everything.
