Victoria Falls Backpackers proved an excellent choice to stay in Zimbabwe. My sister and I had our own "lodge" with ensuite bathroom. It was great to have a hot shower after a week on camping safari!! The staff was friendly, terrific and helpful and they even have a lodge Maltese named Rosie who was the perfect companion for our stay. The mosquito net also worked quite well to keep us from being bitten and the staff were very helpful on instructions for activities around town and places to eat

We had a FANTASTIC stay here. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and we had the cutest little house to stay in. All of the facilities were clean and in working order. I loved cooking in the kitchen and putting my feet into the guppy pool. There’s even a dog named Rosie who wanders around looking for belly rubs. Highly recommend Victoria Falls Backpackers! Great value for your money

A small oasis, staff is friendly and helpful, the Bush Cafè cooks basic but value for money meals with a smile, although it would be great if some of the lunch items could be ordered for dinner :) Pool and pool area is clean. Dorms were cozy, although the beds were placed a bit tightly, during peak season it may get a bit packed. Mosquito nets, plenty of warm water in the showers.

Thanks for my stay at the backpackers. I felt extremely safe here and the layout itself is amazing. Such a good vibe. Just a bit of a walk to the shops and restaurants but that also means that the lodge is super quiet as it’s away from the crowds. Didn’t know about the lack of money in atms in Zimbabwe as when I booked through hostel world I didn’t get an email from the lodge itself about this. So was a bit difficult for me as I relied on credit card a lot. Other than that great experience!

Victoria Falls Backpackers is a great place to base yourself for the Zimbabwean side of the Falls. Awesome staff, neat sleeping quarters, and great facilities including a cool swimming pool. It’s a nice 2km walk into town. Don’t let the taxi drivers in town fleece you if you choose to use them. Highly recommended!

It was a nice place to spend a night. The main thing I didn't like was how complicated the showers are to use. Also, proximity to the centre of town could be better.

It was fine- walking distance to town- but a long walk (25mins), I had a private room which was mediocre- lots of bugs and no way to prevent them because the room had lots of ‘outdoor gaps’ spaced for insects between the roof and walls, doorframe/ broken window screen, etc. Also the bar/restaurant (if you would even call it that) closes very early- so there is no ambience or really any hangout spot after 7pm, (and no area even before then for that matter). Much better value in Livingstone..
