Vloft is a really nice place to stay in Ipoh! It's located very close to the old town historic district, and as you need to use a keypad to get in and can use the provided lockers, it's very secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions about the area and providing us with pamphlets and information. There is no common space, however, so it's a quiet, relaxing place to spend rather than a backpacker community. I was happy they provided free shampoo, soap, and water!

Clean and comfortable accommodation, Suky was such a mind and helpful host. Free water very appreciated. Ipoh itself isn’t much of a tourist hotspot so there wasn’t really an atmosphere at the hostel but still a great place to stay if a stop in Ipoh is desired.

Difficult to find, as there was no obvious sign. I walked on the footpath right past it, for some way. When I walked back, the sign as on a column facing that way. The location was very good. Very close to the night market street, and not that far from either old town - in 1 direction, or Ipoh Gardens mll - in the other direction. Staff were friendly and helpful. Small and large dorms. Facilities quite basic - bed and 2 bathrooms - ok. Quite cheap, so pretty good value.

Unusual hostel, but fine for one night. It’s really just one big dorm room, no real social area but if you’re lucky with who else is in the hostel you can have a really nice time. Suki is lovely as well and they provide free drinking water and the showers are warm. Overall a fine hostel.

A nice and basic place to stay with free water refills. Not much of an atmosphere but Suki is really informative and helpful. Everything within walking distance too. The 4 bed dorm itself was clean! Power sockets arent next to the bed and no light port by the bed too but not a deal breaker.

    Very Good

The hostel is located in a great spot. You can reach everything pretty easily. Unfortunately the bathrooms are not the best and there is no basin to wash dishes in the “food area”. The owner is welcoming and he will give you great advice on places to visit, food and safety areas. Overall I am satisfied with the service receives.

Good location to explore Ipoh from and get a decent nights sleep. The staff were rarely around however which made us feel a little uneasy, and the layout was kind of weird - you walk through the door and you’re in the big dorm room. We stayed in the 4 bed which was more comfortable and air con worked well, would recommend staying in there if you stay here, it’s cheap so that’s the main thing really.
