There's also a tram station, Wiltzanghlaan, 2 minutes' walk away – hop on to catch a connecting train that will take you to Schiphol Airport. Hire a bike from us and explore the local area, or follow one of the bike lanes into the old town.

The breakfast included was much appreciated. It's a bit far though, even from Sloterdijk. But I booked last minute for ADE and it was the best value for money.

The hostel is great, good placement (near Sloterdijk station), only 10 min walk, the room is clean and all the other facilities, the only issues was the way the staff members on the reception handle conversation, it's like they do give us straight answers without a good explanation, I'm not sure if it's a language problem (we communicate in English), or other things, but sometimes we felt that they do not do much to answer our question. Rather than this everything was great!

Not in the nicest part of the city, but public transportation connects well. Breakfast is nice. The "kitchen" is literally just a sink and a fridge, no forks or cups. The atmosphere was strange, but that's probably because this place is absolutely massive. It's nearby a grocery store which is nice, but remember that you don't have any way of cooking anything.

I didn't like the way that the staff treat me, they don't really care about you, and don't even try to cover it.

There's literally no charging points in the entire dorm. We had to unplug the lamps to connect the chargers for the phones. And those plug points weren't anywhere close to the bed. The common area had under 10 charging points, visible to the naked eye. It's ridiculous. Some staff was warm, other staff couldn't care less, which is understandable, but an observation.

Worst experience of my life. The bed was infested with bed bugs and I had bites all over my arms, my legs, my neck and my face. The staff was horrible, and I have emailed me and they have not acknowledged the situation nor given me a refund for a pricey hostel that was definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is horrible and couldn’t have a clean bed and what is worse is that they ignored my situation. I sent them pictures of the bugs and my bites.

First and foremost: there are bed bugs. The breakfast is nothing really exciting. My friend and I came together but were put in separate rooms. We were looking for places to sit and chat together, but the only lounge is on the first floor, and it is not a very comfortable atmosphere with its plastic sofas. I would not come back.

DANGEROUS, VIOLENT STAFF. Be aware! I was attacked by the staff at this hostel. They we not picking up the phone. When I went downstairs to ask why, I had an argue with the receptionist. The guy became violent and attacked me. Another member of staff had to restrain him. I had to move the following day for my own security. He was a beard wearing, not smiling, unenthusiastic individual. That is the type of staff you will find in this hostel. Be aware and go somewhere else !!!
