My first hostel experience and the best one I could've ever gotten. Met such fine people, amazing location (calm and serene), most of the views nearby and the people running this place (and the cooks) are such amazing people. Would love to visit again sometime :)

Waterfall is a very chill spot. It’s in the middle of incredible rice fields, there are cows on the property and a mother cat with 5 kittens. It’s extremely peaceful. While a little far from town, it’s super easy to rent a motorbike and be there in 10 minutes. It’s right next to the river swimming spot, which is great on a hot day. Loved this place and will come back in the future!

great atmosphere here and we met lots of great new friends. The family are welcoming and are always available to provide drinks, cook great food and the bathrooms are cleaned every day. We recommend the shakshuka for breakfast! The communal area overlooks a beautiful rice field and the waterfall is a hop, skip and jump away. Bicycles and scooters for hire, great spot for exploring Hampi. Such a vibe we spent a lot of time in the Homestay itself chilling with other likeminded guests!

It was slightly difficult to find, and you almost have to rent a bike to get there when you arrive, but it is a very relaxed place with good food, a friendly staff, and a communal vibe. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse if you’re staying north of the river.

Hostels in the middle of nowhere always have a better atmosphere than ones in the city. You'll definitely have good chats with other travellers and possibly make new friends. There isn't much security in the dorm rooms but I wasn't worried too much. Rent a scooter & drive around, the area is beautiful & the food served is pretty good.Laundry is great and cheap as well.

    Very Good

    26 Feb 2020
Location isn’t great but the owner informed us his hostel beforehand had been bulldozed due to the govt stance on Hampi. If you get a bike it isn’t really an issue, plus the scenery is very beautiful. You have to pay extra for toilet roll and drinking water, which having been to plenty of hostels in India I know isn’t typical. Toilet and shower quite dirty. Overall probably wouldn’t stay again but was good value for money for a few days. Family are lovely!

    Good

Watch out! These guys show a much lower cost for a night’s stay than they actually charge. After walking past hippy island and through the rice fields you’ll be asked to pay much more than you expected to a person who couldn’t care much about your situation. On a positive note, this place is in a quiet and serene part of Hampi. If you don’t mind a bit of transport to get here (and the above issue potentially) then check them out!

Was a little creepy having the family owners camped in a mattress outside my door. Nice restaurant on site. Place is a little far out but great nature. Hard to get a straight answer out of owner on prices. Beware. Not crazy about his billing system. If you want authentic Indian experience this is fine. Basically glorified camping. Awful mattresses. Great rice fields nearby. We all found mattresses a challenge, but it’s Infia.
