    Fabulous

The Westway Guest House is a wonderful place to stay for the weekend in Galway. It's about a mile or so outside the city center which can be annoying if you're trying to go back and forth during the day, but there is a bus stop right across the street. A taxi from the city center costs around €11.00. The B&B itself is really cute and worth the price. It's old fashioned, but not outdated. The host is a very nice woman who was chatting us up at breakfast.

The Westway was out of Galway center but very easy to get to by bus. The room is small but very clean and well appointed. The hostess is very friendly and helpful and communication was very easy.

Though it's outside of the city, it's right next to the bus stop, which is really convenient, so you'll have no problem getting to where you need to go. She also serves a good, simple breakfast. Coffee and Tea available.

When you look at the price and service, it's very good house. There are bike station and bus stop near to the house if you want. I recommend this.

We were visiting some friends who lived just around the corner from this so it was perfectly located for us. Easy to drive to, had parking, and was ideal. Staff were very friendly, we arrived much later than originally planned and they were very accommodating, also breakfast was wonderful. Room wasn't perfectly clean, were some hairs etc in bathroom sink and around the bathroom when we arrived which were rather off putting. Nice place, but nothing fantastic, 4/5 for money due to good breakfast.

Not a bad hostel its outside of the city but its only a 5 minute bus ride there so not bad. The room was pretty small but I was only their to sleep and it had a relly nice bathroom with free towels. And she has breakfast. I would stay there again.

Stayed here while attending a course close by, so location was perfect for me. I didn't spend much time at Westway. There was a small shop and ATM within 5minutes walk. Parking was no issue, nice quiet area of Galway City. Simple breakfast and plenty of coffee :-) I would recommend this place.

If I could rank the staff, atmosphere, and general hospitality lower I would. Probably the most rude lady I have ever encountered in the hospitality business. We booked two private rooms for 4 guests that say sleep 1-2 people. When four of us showed up she swore at us and claimed that we were trying to pull a quick one on her. I tried to call hostel world but she was still extremely rude and unhelpful claiming that she was taking my money one way or another. Very disappointing with my stay.

Awful. Damp, sound of traffic all night. No third bed in our 3-bed room. Ensuite behind a sliding door with the toilet 15 inches from the head of bed. Room too cluttered to open the wardrobe. Having forgotten my pocket saw, I was unable to penetrate the scone while brown fruit bread may have been easier on the palette several weeks before and might have caused some tummy upset had my gag reflex not ejected it so violently from my mouth. The pot of instant coffee offered little comfort.
