Troji is an incredible host and was a wealth of information for how to enjoy the Cameron Highlands. The area itself is a bit far from town, but was perfect for a relaxing setting amidst the rolling tea plantations and amazing weather. Westwood is so beautifully designed and was amazing to rest at. I spent afternoon on the bean bags petting the cats and reading books as the cool breeze came in. The hospitality was incredible and I'd come back just to see Troji again!

Forever lasting impressions are what Ive left with while staying at Westwood Highland. Staying here was the highlight of my trip to Malaysia. Troji, was extremely friendly, and accomodating. You get a real feel for what the Cameron Highlands is supposed to be. Friendly smiling locals, beautiful serene nature with farms, and plantations. Westwood highland reminded me of a cottage like feel where one can get away, and relax without the hustle and bustle of the city. I would highly recommend.

The hostel is really nice! I like the ambiance and the place. However, the only problem is the transportation. If you know how to drive a motorbike/car, I would suggest to rent. If not, then you need to go there by taxi. But overall, I would recommend to stay here.

Pros: This hostel was AMAZING. I loved my stay here so much. The owner is the coolest and sweetest man ever. He helped me book a bus to Penang and drove me to the bus stop as well. He also makes the best coffee. The breakfast here is really great, with lots of options to choose from. Even though there weren’t many people at the hostel, it was a very social one. It’s a nice off the grid hostel with well priced scooter rentals offered by the owner. I’d def stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay at Westwood Highlands. The location is suitable for people who have a car and wants to be away from the touristy crowd. The venue is suitable for families or individual who wants to hang out (eg. hotpot, camping..etc) by themselves or with friends. The temperature in the area drops after 5/6pm. Noon time it is still quite warm. The place is clean and the interior is quite zen and wood. The only downside of the venue is the rooms are not sound-proof can hear noise from downstairs
