Property Description

Our traditional ski lodge offers a comfy atmosphere for the guest. Fireside Lodge is members' club offering accommodation to non-members. Being a member-owned facility ensures that lodge conditions are maintained at a standard generally better than typical hostels.

We have newly renovated dorms as well as private rooms accommodating two people or loft rooms for four or five people. The loft rooms are very suitable for family groups. We're family-friendly!

Kitchen facilities are communal with a large, well-equipped kitchen and dining area which can accommodate 20 or more at a time. The kitchen was renovated in 2015. There is a large communal lounge area with a fireplace, of course. Toilets and showers are shared but well-equipped.

Ski and board storage is offered in a locked room. We also have a recreation room with foosball, pool table and table tennis free of charge. There is also a sauna on site.

Most well equipped hostel I have ever stayed in. Huge selection of kitchen equipment and enough space for everyone to store food, with great dining and lounge area. Used the sauna which was great after a long day out. Hostel was quiet as we visited in off-season, however a nice peaceful atmosphere was appreciated. Staff gave great recommendations and welcoming on arrival. One staff member was slightly unapproachable but this did not ruin our stay. Would happily return.

Probably the best hostel i have ever stayed in. The kitchen is huge, well set out, quality appliances and lots of utensils, crockery etc. Excellent storage for all your provisions. Large common room with books, chess sets, etc, plus a full sized snooker table and table tennis table. Loads of plugs for phones etc. The private rooms are very spacious, comfy beds. Excellent value for money!

Very cozy little hostel with an interesting cabin feel - there is a big dorm where you can sleep with your own locker, light, etc. The kitchen is massive and lots of appliances. The Quebecois at the front desk was very approachable and friendly, the young blonde female at night...not so much. She was complaining loudly on her phone and created a negative atmosphere for guests to hear - not sure what her role is though because she could have been cleaning the microwaves instead, for example

    Very Good

Nice hostel close to Whistler village. Good shared spaces, huge kitchen and living area. Don't be scared off by such a big dorm, the beds are very cosy and secluded. Bathrooms could be cleaner and there are not many which could be difficult when a lot of people are staying there. Sauna is a nice addition after a day skiing.
