Grab some beers and relax in our courtyard terrace, or get cosy in our lounge in front of the TV. There's plenty of opportunities to meet other travellers: we run a free daily walking tour, as well as a tapas tour and a pub crawl. Help yourself to tea, coffee and biscuits from our guest kitchen, and feel free to ask our 24-hour reception team for tips and recommendations.

You’ll find us in Albaicín, Granada's medieval Moorish area. The main street, Gran Vía, is just a 5-minute walk away and the famous Alhambra palace and fortress are about the same distance. Within 200 metres of the hostel there are several tapas bars where you can try authentic Spanish dishes. You might even let loose at our favourite flamenco bar! It’s easy to get to us from the airport: just jump on bus 245 from the terminal and get off at Gran Vía stop 1. From there we’re a 10-minute walk.

The hostel was perfect, easy 5 minute walk from the city centre, and 10-15 minutes from all the best miradors (lookouts) in the city! Also close 10 minute walk to Alhambra - honestly location is unbeatable. The hostel itself was very nice, very relaxed atmosphere and working aircon which made it a lifesaver in the hot Granada summer! Had a great time, would recommend!

Very nice hostel in a good location - You can see Alhambra from inside. Toilet is clean but there’s only one per room so prepare to share. Kitchen is small but sufficient. Staff are friendly and helpful. A great stay overall!

We thought it was a great place to stay, good air conditioning in the room, kitchen facilities were excellent. However the bathroom was dark and there weren't enough showers. Overall a very good stay

We enjoyed our stay at White Nest! Staff were friendly and very helpful - gave us some tips on some places & restaurants to visit. Location is perfect - close to the city centre but also located at a quiet street. Also, we like the bathroom in our en-suite bedroom - it’s spacious.

I really enjoyed my stay at White Nest Hostel in Granada. The location is amazing! Right along the river and below the Alhambra (which you definitely must see on your visit - remember to book tickets in advance otherwise they sell out!) and also only a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. Rooms were clean and had lockers with lots of space. Staff were friendly and helpful. The free walking tapas tour they offered was awesome. Muchas Graçias!

    Very Good

    06 Aug 2019
I booked a room with a bathroom, and the shower hardly worked. It would flood after a few minutes and leak onto the bathroom floor and the water would rise to your ankles filled with hair from other guests. Also, they promise air conditioning but the first night one staff informed me that they couldn’t use the AC in my room at night (which is kind of necessary to sleep in Granada’s heat). Other than those things, the location was very nice and it was a chill hostel with cool tours.

White Nest Hostel - Granada says

I think what makes us special is our colourful patios and the fact that we're the closest to the Alhambra and the tapas zone. This is a historical building in a fantastic location in the heart of the Albayzín, 30 minutes walk to the Alhambra and 10 minutes walk to the city centre. I really recommend that guests explore this neighbourhood on foot, as well as the Realejo neighbourhood - it's got wonderful graffiti.
I think our staff are really friendly and are great at adapting themselves to our guests' wishes.
We cater for people with disabilities, with ramps and adapted bedrooms.
