Great extended stay @ Wild Rover. The place you want to go if you are wanting to meet new people and have a party. In saying that, we didn’t partake in festivities one night and didn’t find it an overly noisey hostel. Super clean facilities and the beds possibly the most comfortable bunks we’ve slept in so far!

Great party hostel, we booked a superior dorm which was fortunately away from the bar so not too noisy (room W)!! Superior dorms have the most amazing, spacious pods- highly recommend! Lots to do at the hostel, they even screened GOT and football matches. Staff were helpful and polite, great security! Only downside was no kitchen but I feel like the size of the hostel would mean it would be too overcrowded! Hated the smoking corridor outside the bar- can’t people just go to the courtyards?!

Firstly, WiFi was barely usable, especially in my room. Generally great, be aware that it is very much a party hostel, but it is certainly still possible to get an early night. Security is good, checked on entry and two lockers per person, good bathrooms and showers and good bar with food and constant events. Also a tour agency in the building. However, no plugs by beds, only in lockers, no kitchen facilities at all and no common area apart from outside and the bar.

100% a party hostel, so if you're up to a drinking binge, this is the place to be! If you want to get some rest.. Then not. The beds are really comfy, but you can hear all the noise the young crowd makes..

Obviously a big party hostel so don't go if you like small, chill places. Main desk staff were usually not too friendly. There was no kitchen for guests you have to do everything through their bar which is a good bit more expensive than any restaurants on the street. Bathrooms were clean and nice.

Decent hostel for meeting people and having a drink. Some members of the bar staff were a little rude but generally staff were nice. When they chanted wild rover I died a little inside. Actually a very clean hostel and was maintained well. WiFi wasn’t very good. Good to watch footy and that.

When they made people yell 3,2,1, wild f*ing rover I sensed a strong urge to smash my head against the closest table/wall. One night, when there was an event and they screamed it around every two minutes, I sincerely thought about jumping from the balcony head first to put an end to the misery.
