We had the most amazing time at Bolivia Wild Rover. We ended up volunteering because we loved it so much! Thanks to Sergio, Bebe, Danny and Jojo we loved working behind the bar and they always brought the best energy and made us feel so welcome. (As well as all the other reception staff). We loved the walking tour and it was in the perfect location. Also loved the sunny courtyard. Thank you guys so much ❤️

I have volunteered as a bartender at the wild rover in La Paz for the past couple weeks and it has the best atmosphere of any hostel I have been to in South America. It fosters an environment for meeting new people and partying all while having comfortable beds and good facilities. The bar staff in particular were some of the nicest and welcoming people I have met (BeBe, Danny, and Jojo) and I cannot speak highly enough about the manager Sergio he knows how to run a great hostel!

Fun hostel to stay in. Good showers and decent bed. WiFi was very bad - cut out often. Travel agency downstairs is helpful for organising salt flats tours etc. Friendly staff. Be prepared for people coming back late to your room and also noise in hostel after the bar closes - soundproofing to bar is actually quite good but once it closes people move outside where noise travels further.

Okay hostel for a night out, has its own bar and serves food. However no kitchen or any kind of self catering facilities, wifi is almost non-existent, not really anywhere comfortable to lounge during the day time, and multiple thefts of iPhones etc during my stay. Does have a pool table tho.

Booked a dorm two weeks in advance and when I got there the dorm I’d booked wasn’t available and gave me a completely different option- they didn’t even apologise or bother trying to fix it. Had they told me earlier or actually changed their rooms online I would have managed to get a refund but obviously telling me at the time I check in I was unable to get it.
