Absolutely beautiful property. Lots of cats! Very nice living room and dining area, and great places to watch sun rose/set. I didn’t eat the dinners but I hear they were great. Only downside is the self catering kitchen could be better stocked (pots all missing handles) Def visit the farm stall up the road, cute animals and fab food. Hikes on the property are great and they will shuttle you for free to an incredible hike. the shuttles are reasonably priced. Best hostel I found on garden route.

Nestled in amongst nature, with cosy lodges, camp fires and jungle treks/bikes, this place was a dream! The farm near the entrance was our absolute favourite venue for snacks and meals, although the lodge has some super nice food too! 100% stay here for a few nights minimum as there is a lot to explore.

Amazing in every possible way... Management incredibly helpful (Pre-arrival while trying to figure out logistics after finishing the otter trail, with booking confirmation and super helpful, friendly people working there when we arrived). Views, landscape, waterfall, fireside entertainment, interesting conversation, comfiest bed ever (double ensuite room). And the food. And the live music. All together create a vibe that is truly out of this world. We all want to go back and stay. Forever.

This hostel is a destination, not just a place to stay. The earthy/hippie feel wasn't really for us, but the people are nice and the short hikes, waterfall, and just land itself was out of this world. It was the perfect place to relax and take in nature, and despite the many people, there were plenty of private nature places to find!! We LOVED this place! The food is awesome too!

My kind of place with my kind of people. I stayed in the safari tents and was happily surprised to find a proper bed inside. The meals I signed up for were delicious. I would 100% stay again and refer anyone else to stay as well.

This is a perfect hostel for zen, hippy, spiritual, soulful and artistic kinds among us. We sat around a fireplace watching the supermoon, had organic coffee overlooking the valleys of tsitsikamma, hung out at the waterfall, and had morning yoga in the garden. You get the picture.

Might be quite hard to get to if you don't have a car or aren't using baz bus but good food and friendly staff. If you're looking for an extremely hippy experience this is it. Living in nature and giving back

    Very Good

    09 Dec 2016
The Good - Great hiking around the immediate area. Close to the big bungee and a few other nice attractions. The bad - It seemed like the staff was really uptight, especially the girl with dreadlocks. Dinner was always served way too late, usually around 8:30pm. If you asked to sign up for dinner 1min passed 4pm the staff would cut you down and make you feel terrible. No lockers and no locks on doors. The Bathrooms - Water spouts waisting water all around. Cold showers.
