Great hostel. Lovely vibe with lots of locals at the bar/ restaurant. Be sure to search for the Mulberry hostel if using

Amazing stay! The breakfast was great, everyone was so nice, but the manager, Queen, was extraordinary! She helped us out with everything, from safari to airport pick up, day trips and was really flexible with extra nights. You sleep in small huts with your own bathroom, which is lovely, but it’s very moist in the hut, sometimes the floor in the corner was wet when it rained. Also, the warm water is not reliable, but all in all the rooms are nice and comfortable!

I found Wildberry on the website and was pleased at the location between Riverside/Impala transport an the Clock Tower. It was an obvious choice for me. I liked the facilities overall. Restaurant and bar onsite. There is also a small colony of cats there and a couple of them would come around for attention. I am a regular visitor to Arusha and will stay at Wildberry again. You should note that Wildberry isn't well known by Riverside/Impala. Everyone knows it as Mulberry.

    Very Good

The staff were nice though and the location was great. We booked a dorm room and unfortunately there were slugs all in the ceiling which wasn't that big a deal except they were pooping everywhere and it was all over the room. Also, the lightbulbs were burned out and it was dim. There was also no WiFi and no warm water for showers. Furthermore, the restaurant located in the hostel (which does have great food) doubles as a hookah bar that plays loud music until late in the night.

AWFUL!! I booked 3 nights because of their great reviews. I stayed in the 4 bed dorms with 2 other girls. We were all truly disgusted. First of all, the dorm is a tiny Hut where you can barely fit 2 people. And the wall separating toilets from the rooms is not closed!! So you can hear and smell everything. Also Internet is limited so we didn't have Internet at night! Finally no HOT water!! And the room is so humid!I left after one night and asked for a refund. Staff and food are ok though

No hot shower, no internet and the noise of the bar and related cars was very high. Staff could not assist with planning anything.

I booked this place because I saw good recommendation few months ago, but this place is awful. Our room wasn't clean at all, We didn't have hot water and the service wasn't as we expected. It was very noisy because of the pub in there and the wifi didn't work well. But we really liked the location (in the middle of the nature) and the food from the restaurant.

The place was really terrible. The rooms were very, very dirty! The cleanliness was very unpleasant. There was no warm water in the rooms, I had to have a FREEZING cold shower, and it was a cold day! It was raining and water was raining heavily through the roof, so my bag was completely wet when I woke up in the morning. The atmosphere in the restaurant was strange and it was very dark. I wanted to run away the minute I arrived. The breakfast is poor, too. I highly recommend NOT to stay there.

Two really big issues: 1)This place is attached to a popular bar/hookah lounge. My bed literally shook from the bass until 2am EVERY night and so many voices outside my door. 2) The slugs!!!! These are garden huts which I knew. Ive shared rooms with critters before. But slugs?!!!! Disgusting to wake up to slugs crawling on your things and on the toilet. Saving grace is the staff. She was always smiling, very helpful, and did her best to make me comfortable.
